I think what is important is just to live with what you can afford. We choose to live smaller with our family so that we don't have to rely on the government and still have savings. So I have been paying $200 a month for around 10 years to pay it off I am almost done with that credit card pay off. My family member will receive their “cd” back

Hell yes. I've worked since I was a teenager I'm careful with my spending and I don't flush my hard earned money down a toilet. I love to shop garage sales and Assistance League type thrift stores. I always think about how many hours or days of working my job it would take to earn the money to buy something and I usually end up not buying it.

I saw this woman again in paternity court. Her husband doubted about his paternity because of this woman's alcoholism and because her husband had vasectomy 20 years ago. But her pregnancy turned her alcoholism away and turned out that she's a loyal woman and vasectomy wasn't a successful one. She remained tactful and mature during the court hearing.

We never looked at our biological ties or lack thereof as a hindrance to our relationship. however, i will agree with you on that adversities help make sibling relationships grow stronger. As for your relationship with your ex-wife and kids it seems there has been some emotional/mental abuse. I don't know much of your personal situation but I can tell you this. Your son's perception of you as a father, and as a man will inevitability influence them when they themselves begin to establish their character as men in life. I hv learned that the strong characteristical traits that define a man in life is not what they endured but rather how they endured. (think of it as forging metal in the furnace)...idk I just thought there's a lot of analogies that can be associated with living life n forging metal...lol and also maybe cuz I've been checking out a lot of forging vidz on youtube...lol Anyways my friend let your adversities between you and your ex-wife become apportunities to help you show your boys what a man looks like in the face of adversities. Don't take this the wrong way Sir, I am simply expressig my impression of what I read. If disrespect is what your sons see you tolerate then that's what they'll tolerate from not only each other but from other relationships. I hv said all of this not because i heard but I've lived it. I am happily married for almost 9yrs come October. I hv a 4yr son n one on the way. My wife is the love of my life and my boys are the joy of my life. Not all of those yrs were "happily". The ex-husband is likely NOT brokenhearted; and most likely opted out of being exposed on the show for a second time. Plus the original story actually presented his side of things. He has moved on with his life. Unless you know the terms of divorce then you don't know the ex was left holding the bag of debt. Most likely not since her own six credit cards were maxed out; which is debt that follows her, not him.

I think on some level they feel like kids will save the marriage. They know that something is wrong, something is lacking, and they're hoping that kids will fill the void. Theoretically, each child would be one more reason to stay together. But more often than not, the stress of adding another child to an already strained marriage is the wedge that finally drives them apart.

there is a valid reason what if you were the only child and then your parents divorse you alone and no siblings if they remarried and had more children, those would be your half siblings half siblings would never be more close to you then their own full siblings furthermore, anytime you wished about your parents or had feelings you wanted to share, those half siblings would never understand you where as, your full siblings would because they are in the same shoes as you with the same situations from home and same parents now, about me... my son was 30 days old when I realized my wife and I would never make it I went to her with my honest heart that we would never make it and for that reason I want my son to have another sibling before it's to late we got pregnant within that month and my son had his baby brother by the time he was 11 months my wife and I have gone through so much nastyness for the past 6 years, each year, each month but the support my kids have for each other and the love their share is just price less they are each others back bone and make each other so soo SOOO much happy peace ;)

Thank God I taught all four of my children the difference between needs and wants. They all live within their means and are teaching their children the same life lessons. She was on the tv show paternity court (you can find it on YT). On that show, her new husband is questioning if baby is his as he had a vasectomy many years ago. In the show she talks about having times she was so drunk she blacked out, however, she doesn't believe she was ever unfaithful when passed out drunk. She also talks about how she put her ex husband in a lot more debt than was revealed on Oprah show. She sounds like a real winner. Her poor kids.

She appeared to *maybe* be on something in her interview. Her eyes wouldn't focus and her face was even twitching at one time. Opiates & pain pills can make people twitch and appear this way, although it could also be anxiety/stress. She is definitely addicted to having children & There will probably be more kids along the way. Honestly, she didn't fool me with the "everything's perfect" and the "I'm so happy now" card. Nor was that cute baby boy an "accident", she knew exactly how to make another baby. She will never truly be happy until she connects with a higher power and becomes honest with herself. PTSD often goes hand in hand with compulsions & addiction. Cognitive therapy would be really good for her. Hopefully she has a therapist to work with. It's important to not bash anyone for their bad choices and wrong doings, bc we have plenty of our own & maybe not to this degree, but we are all just human. She needs to be helped for not only herself, but for those children to have a mother.
