Sadly, fame does things to people and it is the rare person who escapes the "fame effect." Oprah has worked hard for her money, no doubt about it. She has been incredibly generous to thousands. But, Miss Orpha (the biblical name her parents were going for), has a dark side. She has become a 'spiritual guru' to many, and has engaged people of faith, telling them she knows better and the bible is just one of many ways to God. It takes some kind of ego to engage wirh God, using her tiny, insignificant mind. As God asks Job, "Where were you when I laid the foundations of the earth...when the morning stars sang together..and all the sons of God shouted for joy.." Oprah has the weight of many souls, their spiritual blood upon her hands and when she stands before the King above all kings, we will see then what her pride and her study, her knowledge buys her. She will know then that her arms are too short to box with God: in her self righteousness which will be as filthy rags, her knee will bow and her tongue will confess the supreme Lordship of the Jesus she has mocked. And, unless she asks God's forgiveness and asks Jesus to be her Lord, she will depart into outer darkness, learning she is responsible for the spiritual death of thousands, a horrible and eternal judgment. Poor Oprah, all the good she has done, all the acts of kindness...All of it of no account when the tally of her life is made because she missed t h e single most important thing...she refused the Lordship of Jesus Christ.

Liz was a kind of strange when it came to friends. She would smile at everyone as equals but she either liked you or not there wasn't much grey area. I was pleased to be able to meet and talk to her a few times. My adopted Dad worked for John Warner during the period of time that he was married to him. She rode in my Cadillac when my Dad would pick them up from the airport and my Mom used to be able to brag that she had used her bathroom (as a laugh). She always took an interest to help as many as she could with a great deal of success in her spectacular life!! She is missed 💕
