Came here to say: this series was an ABSOLUTE BANGER. Thank you for putting it together. I honestly don’t know how nobody has properly dissected the Wayans’ careers, work and influence before now. I learned a LOT. Bravo 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽🎉

I met Kim Wayans a couple of times. She was super cool and down to earth, she used to visit the gift shop of a museum I worked at and I'd see her walking the streets around there from time to time. This was a while back but won't say the museum to respect her privacy. I gave her her space but eventually told her how much I was a fan and respected her and her family's work

I had kind of forgotten just how many amazing hit movies the Wayans family had created. When you list them all in one video, it's like "Wow. These guys are really comedy geniuses." Thanks for highlighting this important family in terms of Black comedy and African-American history. We need more KZbin creators like you generating positive content. Thank you.

I LOVE The Wayans Bros. It’s one of my comfort shows I’ve must’ve watched every episode. It doesn’t get any credit for how great it is. I also think Marlon really shined on that show he and John Witherspoon would have me dying of laughter everytime.

Btw Damon is the funniest but Marlon is the best actor out of the family. Requiem For A Dream and his appearance as Lou on the Bel Air are phenomenal.

"The Wayans Bros." is one of few shows that I honestly feel wasn't great to start with, but really got better as it went along. And that episode with Pops and the Temptones is probably my favorite. And Marlon's show "Marlon" was also pretty funny in my opinion. RIP John Witherspoon.

That intro song lives rent free in so many of our brains. I still have no idea what the Wayans brothers was really about but loved every minute of it 😂 My Wife & Kids is one of my favorite series ever.
@greenfox76572 ай бұрын
My favorite part of that song is it's more than just a silly intro song. The song literally has a message about unity and how good the world can be if we just look past the race and cultural differences. So ironic that the show made such strides in that respect and yet the stupid network let race get in the way.

I just stumbled on to your channel and I love it! It’s 🔥 But in this video, your comments about Low Down Dirty Shame show that you’re from a different generation because that movie is a classic, and that’s not just my opinion. GenX and older millennials love this movie and can recite lines from it and recall the memes from it. So you saying “it’s okay” shows you may be too young to relate, which is fine. I love that you’re capturing this info, but if it is before your time, perhaps you can review it with people from that generation just as another check. I can recall a couple of things I noticed from parts 1 and 2 that I feel you got wrong as well. No fault of your own, it’s just generational. 😊 But again I love what you’re doing, and thank you for capturing this information!

Maaaan I didn't have cable back then, Wayans Bros show on school days was just the highlight of the night sometimes! Shame, Git you Sucka, Major Payne, Blankman and Mo Money, I went through phases I watched all of those on a loop and I used to record Keenans talk show on VHS and watch them when nothing was on TV. Plus I still watch In Living Color. Wayans were like the comedy Chicago Bulls of the 90's! Then we got all the Marlon and Shawn parodies to laugh at later on! Come on this whole family needs each a Hollywood star!!

Danny Glover as pop's I can't see that bc both the Wayans are comedians and so John Witherspoon.John fits as pop's for the brothers personalities sake.
