You missed That Punch Kid. He, Redshell and Twomad were probably the most entertaining OW content creators to ever exist and they really increased my love to this game back in the day. Now I think there is literally no channels that make entertaining, fun, highly edited ow videos. Everyone is either talking about new game changes, make coaching videos or just tryhard on ranked. Don’t get me wrong, there is nothing bad about that, but I wish we had more funny ow videos like 7 years ago. Because personally, the more I see ppl have fun in the game and making the game look funny, the more I enjoy it myself. And for the last couple of months everyone is just complaining about basically everything and that’s just off putting. EDIT: 1. We also miss Brandito (doom god), Dinoflask (he made one of the most iconic ow parodies) and Gaming Curios (ow montages / clips) 2. When it comes to current creators that make funny og like content we have dgnt who makes highly edited ow vids, and #selfpromo me, who makes ow content based around me and my interesting personality, with some edits.

i am not redshell fan or defender or anything, but regardless of his controversy, he's one of the most talented lucio overwatch ever had. had been on rank 1 and 2 on the leaderboard while being whacky as you said. i watch his overwatch content sometimes (i watch other lucio player too since i was a lucio main), it's pretty entertaining and you can get 1 or 2 tips to play lucio. i guess he stop playing (besides he persuing variety and other reasons) after almost of his friend stop playing, almost every game no one recognize him, and most of other content creator left in OW2 pretty much denying his existence in overwatch or already canceled him for what he did long ago. so his good days in overwatch ended for him.

Oh oh, I can answer this as one of Muselk's old video editors & content manager. Basically what happened is he stopped caring so much about YT and instead focused on other things in life, like he and his sister Grace's company; Click, and going to sponsored events 24/7. What happened to his YT channel is he turned it into a walking sponsorship, with videos released around the clock to meet a quota and include lined-up sponsors. His 2nd channel is a perfect example of this, with the only videos being released after he focused on Fortnite being either sponsored games or Overwatch with a World of Warships ad. 4 years of this later and one of his editors quit, leaving me as his sole editor. Around this time he had stopped caring entirely, and put out the bare minimum while he did what I said above. However, he DID start caring last year, 2023, around May, where he said he wanted to have fun again and take his content to new heights. ...but what that translated to is he wanted me to basically turn Starfield livestream-esque footage into a long-form video. I don't know how much people know about content creation, but this is a biiiig no-no if your focus is on quality, as you always want a structured recording for maximum quality. What also didn't help is how he expected me to add EVERYTHING. While yes, he did eventually turn over a brief, this was around 2 weeks into production. I ended up muddling the edit due to stress and accumulated Gender Dysphoria, with Elliott yelling at me for not doing enough work, and saying that I must have done all of that work in 5 hours and not 2 weeks. This was after I had repeatedly asked him what he wanted and how, as my job title was not producer, I was only a video editor. Keep in mind, this was after I had been working for him for close to 5 years, working closely alongside his other editor to produce content from 2019 to 2023. This was also the first time he had ever wanted to branch out and trial this new style of work, and well...he expected me to do all of the heavy lifting while he gave me footage that was half-baked from the start of production. We parted ways in September 2023 as a result, with him arguing that I was paid too much and not fulfilling my responsibilities, and me not being happy with the lack of direction and expected workload. Side note, he still owes me payment for accrued annual leave, as I only used a month and a half total over 4.5 years, though his excuse is still to this day "You didn't work hard enough and didn't take mental health days off" or "You're just trying to get money out of me". It's telling, since the moment we parted ways he hired a random editor off Fiverrr to do his content, who is likely being paid much less than I was. I don't hold any ill will towards him anymore though, because he seemed to have something going on behind the scenes, and the more I learn about how Click grew apart and Fresh destroyed his career, the more I feel like Elliott was involved and feels responsible. Basically, if Muselk (Elliott) had cared more about his YT channel and actually loved what he did thoroughly instead of focusing on the money then he would still be successful. But I know his mental wasn't great, so it's impossible for me to say that he was ever truly happy at all. Right now I think that the fat jokes are completely not on, and it shows how quickly the online community can turn on you once you stop giving it what it wants. It's not ok that he pretty much got harassed to the point of never using his facecam ever again. People need to grow up and stay out of others' business. I truly hope he can regain his footing, but he does seem happy with other areas of his life, and with his family being as successful as they are it was inevitable that he took a more traditional business-centric approach to life as opposed to being a content creator/entertainer. I mean hey, he could be Coca Cola's next CEO, or even...Australia's own Elon Musk...
