What Happened To These UNUSED Raptor Kills From Jurassic World?

I honestly still think that Fallen Kingdom should have been split into two movies, the first ending with them getting off the island with the Brachiosaur's death and the second starting with the ship. Both of which should have been 1 and a half to 2 hours long.

@@GanonGhidorah One movie is about getting the dinosaurs off a dying island and how they accomplished that with the conclusion being that they saved as many as they could, even if the reason wasn't what the good guys had been told, and the island being destroyed. The other movie would be about saving the animals from the being sold, the Indoraptor and the clone girl, with the conclusion being that the dinosaurs escape thanks to our heroes and roam free in the world. Oh and the indoraptor dying with the girl finding out what she is. So which movie then wouldn't have a conclusion? Otherwise, just think of it like a story in two parts that gives it more time to breathe.

I disagree because we already had 4 movies about humans going back to the island, face some dinosaurs and then get off the island. Do we really need a 5th movie just to rescue dinosaurs from a volcano on a island? I'm more happy of what we got to be honest.

Yes! You know, establishing Blue as having killed the mercenaries could highlight how special her and Owen's relationship is. Might have also reduced the amount of "Blue is too nice and ruined the Velociraptors" complaints. My theory is that universal heard those complaints, panicked, and then they gave us the Atrociraptors to *attempt* to make the raptors scary again.

I wouldn't be surprised if Iris' death was cut because of the controversy over the babysitter's death in Jurassic World. It would also explain why Santos survived Dominion. Speaking of Dominion, if Iris' death was cut from Fallen Kingdom, that should mean she's alive. Where is she in Dominion?

I don't think Iris would have had too much plot relevance in Dominion anyway (except for maybe telling us more about the Lockwood family's past), if anyone Lowery, Sarah or Nick Van Owen would have made more sense to be in the movie

If they did film Iris' sacrifice. They should definitely release it. I thought Santos would get attacked by one of the Atrociraptors. As if one went rogue and it wasn't in her control. Would've been cool since the entire franchise is about you can't control nature or dinosaurs for that matter.

@@juliancaraveo5700 Santos should absolutely have been eaten by one of her raptors, her getting into a fight with Claire right after letting them loose was the perfect setup for her demise (Claire getting the laser pointer and pointing it at Santos, prompting that one raptor that broke into the apartment to maul her on the spot), but instead she just gets arrested and disappears from the movie afterwards

I remember reading the "Blue killed two of my men" part, a shame it didn't make it to the movie. Hybrids aside, Blue has the highest number of human kills in the franchise (7, if I'm not mistaken, and I'm not including the aforementioned 2 kills). And somebody calls her "friendly little hero". 😅 That said, I agree that Iris's death and other cut scenes with the Indoraptor should have stayed, and I'd love to see them one day. And about the lack of gruesome kills in Dominion, again, I agree.

JP5 is my favourite of the JW trilogy. It's got it's flaws but I think it's a lot of fun. So I hope we get a directors cut.

Nice work and nice analysis of the mysterious raptor in the Jurassic World franchise and it could be really possible that it could be in the Raptor squad with Owen Grady as the fifth member of that team or it could be very different from the other raptors from Jurassic World. Man, there really should have been a longer cut for Fallen Kingdom. I would like a darker and scarier Jurassic movie. By the way, did you hear about Sam Neil stating that an "Extended Cut" is coming out for Jurassic World Dominion? Not sure if he either was unaware that there already is one or that there is a new one coming. Even if there is a new one, no matter what scenes consist of more action or context, the flaws still remain.

A complete four hour cut of the film? I remember somewhere that they stated the film originally had four hours of film, but obviously lots of it was altered and condensed to meet a typical two hour run time. If a complete cut of the film was released, I wonder what that would entail. I mean, the Snyder cut of Justice League was well received, so perhaps a Trevorrow cut of Dominion could work?

How about this: The Iris scene (Nanny getting eaten) and a hunting Blue (bad, scary raptor) would affect marketing towards children and therefore possibly result in lost revenue. Parents not taking Kids to theatres, not buying Toys of a scary monster, etc.

For the Raptors, there are two or three options for extra raptors on the island. First is from the hatchlings (both the clutch one hatches from in the visitors center in JP, or the one Grant and the kids stumble onto in the jungle), second is from Scar's pack (You have the odd position of Jurassic Park: The Game where it's semi-canon now both in its own marketing and with several things referencing events in it such as where they found the bodies of the Herrerasaurus during cleanup with the Jurassic World website stuff...and references with the Live Show material about specifying Jeanie's species as not the one from Sorkin's work), and the third is the potential that there was more than 1 Sorna Raptor during the rebuilding for Jurassic World (Only one is confirmed in Evolution of Claire and it was taken down, but they might have had more). If you want to move further from movie stuff, the only real option is if some of White's pack survived...because the ones from the early comics don't work in conjunction with anything else.

BRO I WAS SAYING THIS WOULD HAPPEN BACK IN 2016. I really wish they went ahead and made Blue feral for at least a bit, or as I had predicted, make her not recognize Owen the first time they see each other. Would've made Blue a lot more realistic as an animal, since she's not a loyal dog, she's a wild animal that Owen's bonded with. What a damn shame. On the other hand, if I was right about this happening at a time, could that mean the t.rex-spinosaurus team up of my dreams was real too? (I also predicted the giganotosaurus, I'm a god)

See after the whole Jurassic World debacle where people complained about the babysitter getting killed, they had to water down Fallen Kingdom and Dominion, I was a literal child when I saw Jurassic Park and The Lost World, and the scary scenes did scare me but thats what its suppose to do Jurassic Park is basically a kids first horror movie.

I'm pretty sure I saw the nanny get killed when I saw the movie in the theatre. I thought it was weird that scene was gone on home media release. The scene is important because it show that she really does care for the little girl. She gets killed because she's trying to delay the indoraptor as the girl runs up the stairs.

It seems like a lot of context has been cut which would of helped the film a little more, because without those context the scenes don’t have weight. Imagine if JP1 cut out the scene with the kid at the digsite, delete the forshadowing but kept muldoon’s death, it would’ve been less special

stand alone movie idea 1995 : just after hurricane Clarissa, InGen sends 5 people to site B to see what the damage is, and if anything could be Salvaged from the venture, and for a real dark edge just 1 makes it off alive but after saying it's over, it's pointless to try it and the last person who went dies camera is on medic'd face we fade out seeing the rescue boat, and eventually a T-Rex overlooking from a hill being able to see the boat move away, but make it a single take

Just imagine the bronto scene when they first get there, which tbh fell flat, but in the back of your mind, blue might be right around the corner and feral. First all the oos and the awwws then the running.. and the screaming…

The first halft of Fallen Kingdom was amazing but they should have kept it on the island and used the volcano as the "ticking timer" for tension as a subplot to excuse their need to be out in the open and moving.
