The first Homefront game on the Xbox 360 and PS3 was actually a pretty good game. The multiplayer in Homefront was a hybrid of Cod and Battlefield.

THQ will always be a huge part of my childhood. They may not be as huge as a Naughty Dog, Ubisoft, or EA, but they publish some of the memorable series. Particularly the WWE games, Saints Row, Red Faction, Metro & the Spongebob games.

Great video as always! I never knew that they originally had the Darksiders, Metro and other licenses. I can't help but wonder if they held on if they would still be around today or if these games ended up better off as a result of the auction. 🙂

This is clearly my opinion, but I find THQ to be the worst game developer and publisher of all time, especially on the Nicktoons games. They didn't deserve to publish them or have their Non-Japanese studios develop them. I feel that Taito should not only have developed the Nicktoons game, but also publish them. But I do have to give them credit though that they did have the gall to actually have the Japanese do some of their games. For example, the WWE games were developed by Yuke's Co. Ltd. for THQ. Some of the Nicktoons games (mostly for handhelds) were usually done by 2 Japanese developers- Altron Corporation and NatsumeAtari. But in all intents and purposes, I do feel that THQ should've never gotten their dirty hands on the Nicktoons and Nickelodeon license and just let Taito Corporation publish and develop all of the Nicktoons games.
