@@haro82 Elvis did tell his father that his career wasn't conducive to being married. Vernon said he asked Elvis if he was going to marry Ginger and Elvis said..."only God knows". One of the MM said he told him "No". Mary Jenks says he told her if he married anyone it would be Priscilla because of Lisa. What I think is.... Elvis told everyone something different because of the gossip and they ended up knowing nothing for sure. At the CBS Special he introduced Ginger as his girlfriend not his fiance'. It's always up for grabs as to what he would really do. All the girls got rings. Ginger was young and maybe she didn't understand how many women he had been with and for how long. He seems to have made all the women feel special. The jeweler said he ended up taking the stone from his TCB ring because he wanted it in a hurry, and he was going to replace it later. Elvis always had other women between relationships. Everyone of them thought they were the one. He made people feel like that.

Oh Jordan!!! This one was it for me!! The interview I have literally waited for since I was 12. The reason Ginger was dismissed was because of one person and we all know who that person is. Ginger got it so right that they (pb) refused to allow room for another woman in Elvis’s life. So true. Ginger has always handled everything with so much class. She’s so humble and respectful. She had every right to step up and be noticed but chose the route that left her head and shoulders above the grifters we still see today. She was so kind respectful and subtle today and I respect her so much for that. I’ve spent so many years telling people who Ginger Alden is and every time anyone asked who did my makeup I’d tell them Ginger was my inspiration. I don’t believe in having idols but she was the closest thing I have ever experienced to that. I still can remember, I took one look at her engagement pictures and I thought she was the most beautiful woman on the face of the Earth and I spent years trying to copy and perfect the look she had in those legendary pictures. She has always been someone I tried to emulate. I truly adore her. Thank you Jordan! Thank you, thank you!! You will never know how much this interview means to me!! It’s like a dream come true! Yes I wished Elvis and Ginger would have had more time . Especially to have left them to get married if for nothing else to shut Priscilla up about her saying Elvis didn't want to marry Ginger. That Elvis still loved her only . Elvis needed a certain diamond to put into Ginger's engagement ring. They couldn't find one so Elvis took his own diamond out of his own ring . He wouldn't have and didn't do it for any of the other love interests. Ginger never knew Elvis did that until after his death months later . It's an eleven karet diamond.

You mean Lisa's nanny? Which hideous mother dismisses her daughter's beloved nanny out of jealousy? Priscilla rather spent time with her many lovers than with Lisa Marie but didn't want Lisa Marie to get attached to anybody else. Elvis was worried about the way Priscilla treated Lisa Marie and told Geller he wanted to file for custody of Lisa Marie after marrying Ginger. Lisa Marie told both Linda and Ginger she thought her mother didn't like her very much. Lisa was right! Lisa Marie must have been very lonely after Elvis' death. She was cut off from her father's family and women like Linda and Ginger which made her totally dependent on her narcissistic mother. Lisa Marie was constantly telling Priscilla how beautiful she looked. She apparently flattered Priscilla in an attempt to please her cold-hearted 'mommy'. Really sad. Joe Esposito said that he never saw Lisa Marie laugh in the years after her father's death.

What an amazing interview. I was just a young girl when Elvis died. I adored him ..funny story A music teacher brought in newspaper of his passing and a Elvis impersonator, anyhow I was so mad cause No one was like Elvis, anyhow I left school. Boy did I get in trouble with my Daddy when the school realized I left on my own a second grader. I still cry when I hear his angelic voice. He will always be the King!!! God bless you all.

Hi Jordan, what a brilliant interview. Ginger really is a lovely lady, and it's great hearing these memories first hand. It's lovely to hear that Elvis was happy and in love at the end of his life. What a shame they never got to marry. I loved the story of when she first met Elvis at Graceland, it must have been like all her Christmases at once! Great vlog Jordan.

elvis was frustrated at the end of his life not happy !! ginger was not giving him wat he needed , elvis had called off the wedding months before he died , so her saying they set the date the night he died was lies . elvis would not be setting a date for a wedding he called off, he told larry and charlie who are both on video saying he had changed his mind about marrying ginger !!

A wonderful interview Jordan. Ginger was very comfortable talking with you, very open, and told a lot of info that has never been released. your questions were well thought. Who are you wanting to interview next? I would like you to try and speak with his Nurse,Trish HENLEY. She has remained quiet all these years. Thanks again.you are AWESOME. QUESTION...WHAT HAPPENED to the pj's Elvis had on when he died? Who took custody of those???

Ginger reminds me of “home.” I can see why Elvis would love her. I am of the age that I read the tabloids and had no idea what the truth really was. But, I know he had good taste. Thank you Ginger for telling your story.

Lol , I don’t know why , but that papaya juice story really summed it up on his personality . You can apply that example to all the stories that were questionable from everyone , and have a better understanding of what really happened .

Well done Jordan - and - well stated Ginger! It really all makes sense now. Elvis wasn’t fat although, for various reasons, he was bloated. And his last concerts were only “two shots” where they had plenty of other opportunities, in that final year, to capture much better images of him. She is so real and deserves all the best in her life to come! Thanks to her for honesty, courage, and resilience! And thanks so much for sharing!
