What happens if you breathe toner powder.

Is the toner powder cancirogenic? Could it be dangerous for you health? Could the inhalation of toner dust have similar effects to smoking, causing lung cancer?

No, there is no harm. You will be just fine. I work on printers everyday and we used to manufacture our own rebuilt cartridges. It will get everywhere (walls, floors, clothes) but long term, it’s not going to kill you.

I repair printers, the other day I spilled toner and it made a cloud of dust, I felt it on my lips and my nose. The next day I sneezed and when I cleaned myself there was residual toner, I cleaned very hard until there was nothing and now I am paranoid. Do you think there is a problem?

I think he/she (sorry but I don't know)means when you use the laser printer like that could be bad too or only when you have contact with the toner. During printing it's nothing could happen...right? I mean I can wear a dust mask and gloves and then no problem.

In printable form it may harm if you are allergic to fine particles. There may be left some not baked toner on a sheet
