The funny thing is that some of those side areas are visible in-game in the Switch version if you move around both the normal camera and the one in Photo Mode! Didn't expect all that stuff to be linked to the panels in Switch Scramble Circus, it was a really interesting and funny discovery!

The thing at 4:02 happens because you're so high up that nothing but the objects you can see are being rendered, not even the skybox. This results in the last thing in a specific spot on the screen staying until something else is rendered there.

6:45 I've had a similar thing happen after using an advanced technique to get enough speed to jump very far out from the infinite-but-not-really donut block section in 9-4. Luckily, the timer in that level is only 100 (1'14"), and reaching the end took me the majority of that.
