Sooo when I was a kid, I'm taking almost 4 decades ago... Shit I've gotten old.. I used to take 22 rounds take off the lead with pliers sometimes using my teeth yeah I know but the early 80s was a different time, and I would pour it into a cardboard tube. I would take a fuse from a m80 and then melt candle wax to seal the gun powder in. It never explode like I was expecting it to, looked more like a flare. So then I got creative and would make lines with the gun powder around my Gi Joes and place black cats under 😂 I would make my own warzone

Also, it only "explodes" when the gases are confined. Propellants aren't designed to explode, they're designed to burn. The gases they create take up so much space inside the small confined area of a cartridge or shell that they force the shot or bullet down the barrel, since that's the path of least resistance.
