I tried something in my game that made my Eevee really annoyed at me. I found the spot where If you tap repeatedly, Eevee doesn't like it, and I kept doing it for a couple of minutes. Eventually, Eevee gets mad, used something like quick attack on me, and the game forced me out of the screen to pet your partner pokemon. If you go back in, she will face the other way and refuse to look at you.

@Addi Gacha YT double battles. Say you have Eevee and Pikachu on field. You should be able to make them target each other if you so wish. I'm pretty sure this mechanic is mostly to take advantage of abilities like Water Absorb and for moves that otherwise benefit your allies (Helping Hand), but you very much can Hyper Beam. ...well, that's how it works in most of the games. I havent played Let's Go much yet, but I would assume it's rather similar when it comes to battles

Apparently, in the play with Pikachu mode, if you mash the A button reportedly instead of holding it, you'll hit Pikachu. Or if you rub it's nose to make it laugh too many times. It will shock you, forcing you out of playing with it. Then when you go back, it will be facing away from you.

Actually once in the celadon department store where I got a water stone, I forced it at my Eevee and when I tried to play with it it was sitting sideways and was glaring at me. When I tried to pet it, it went "Vee?" but then turned back with a rather annoyed "Vee." it took a while to get it ready to play again. It might not work for Pikachu but it works for Eevee I guess.

Well... with Eevee there is a point if ya do it enough, Eevee will sometimes have it's back turned away from you when trying to play with it. Only if it hates you. Made that mistake when I first tried the water stone with it mid game before beating the 5th gym. Took me awhile to revert the oops I made with him.
