This is my most common interaction with him in all my saves when I do feel like starting a new game. I now always go poke the great khans first so I can start the process to gain access the best ammo seller in the base game. (you taught me that one Frobro.) Then run over to freeside to get money for gear.

What happens if you shoot Vulpes before he initiates dialogue with you outside of the Tops? What happens if you fast-travel away before he can give you the Mark of Caesar?

I got one so when you meet caeser vulpes is in the tent with him what if you then turn around and immediately go to nipton for the first time does he race to beat you there or will it be the other guy?

If you kill him in Nipton before he gives you the Mark, some guy Alerio will show up.
