Honestly I think it shows that the villagers in the new games have more self control, also the villagers in this game stunk they would sometimes (very rarely) force you to trade its even worse when they want a rare item also some of them were just rude for no reason sometimes making rude jokes about you also sometimes a villager sometimes (without your permission or consent) changes the colour of your roof and if you say you don't like the colour they have a temper tantrum so glad they don't do all that stuff anymore.

I wish new horizons had more personality with dialogue, it’s just way more interesting and more personified, Here’s a example, when rover was on the phone here the clip I’m talking about: 3:14 and 0:39 it just has more personality. He also has a nice personality and a not so great, he has cons and pros. God I miss it.. :(( and also when he said “cool beans” that just warmed my heart for some reason-

I absolutely love Rover! I’m glad I got to see this because I’ve never and could never be rude to him. I got hooked on the Animal Crossing series from when I bought my son the GameCube version when it came out and am still playing now on New Horizons. I feel like they could have included Rover somewhere besides just in the Mayday Maze. As for the rudeness in the game of the other characters I feel like it should be an option allowed by parental controls. I miss it.
