I mean to be honest I haven't played very many Rockstar Games but I do know that John Dies at the End of the first Red Dead Redemption and obviously Arthur dies at the end of the second one but the only other Rockstar Games I played we're GTA IV GTA V and Bully and the main characters don't die in all of those I mean you have a choice to kill one of the three characters at the end of GTA V but that's limited to Trevor or Michael and you can even choose to make both of them live I can't really speak for any of the other Rockstar Games but as far as I know the only two where the main character dies at the end is Red Dead Redemption 1 and 2

Just finished the main story line, i stumbled upon the spoiler that Arthur dies early on but wasn't too upset i still didn't know how. The final missions riding back to camp with that music playing and all the voices speaking, i knew this was it, and man that hit hard. I finished with honor maxed. The moment I noticed Arthur developing this cough, I had a horrible feeling it was "TB". So from the moment he coughs blood and passes out in Saint Denis I went full on good guy. I knew he was dying and the fact that it drags on SO long and watching Arthur get worse and worse was heart wrenching. Toward the end when I was making my way back to the cave in cinematic view with the in game music playing, was like knowing your best friend was fixing to die and there is nothing you can do to stop it. I almost didn't take that ride. It was hard to handle. Excellent game! Very sad ending! RIP Arthur Morgan...

Sadly I finished the game as low honor, but that's because I decided to stay low early in the game before I became so attached to Arthur. Upon visiting the grave and seeing the black coyote I was instantly broken hearted. During the cut scenes you always saw this spirit animal and now here it is guarding Arthurs grave and if you follow it it will even hang out with you. This really choked me up and brought me to tears. Well done Rockstar, well done...

Qbix Rożniewski maybe it’s would be cool to go even further back, personally if like to play as young Hosea, at arutors camp the picture with young Dutch and hosea and very young Arthur. I think that would be awesome Hoesea was a great character and it would show us more of how the gang really formed. Arthur would be in it but you don’t play as him and he’s young in his teens or early 20s and Hosea as Arthur’s age. I think that would be the best way to do a 3 if they are to go even more back in time but I doubt they will I think it will be after these events and after the rdr1 events maybe play as jack which personally I would not care for a lot of people wanted that to be rdr2 but I’m personally glad it wasn’t. But to play as young hosea or even Dutch would be amazing I’d rather play Hoesea though he is more level headed and more like Arthur and the picture of him young again found at the camp near Arthur’s bed he looks like he could be a main character. Do we already know how he dies yes we do but we also knew how John dies how Javier dies how Dutch dies and how bill dies going into the 2nd. It’s awesome and would be perfect just like the 1st game John talks a bit about his past but only enough to paint a small picture until we played the second Hoesea did the same in the second talked about the past but only enough for a small picture. It would be an amazing way to show how the gang got to where it was at the start of the second. And they wouldn’t have to bring it all the way to Hoeseas death they could just bring it to the events at black water and than end it where you start the second. Just my idea of how they could make a 3rd game a fucking amazing one

Buell died. The horse I inherited from Hamish. The horse I took such good care of to fulfill his final wish. The horse I pet and fed after every time I dismounted him. That honestly made me so sad. When I approached the coyote ran to a flower filled flat spot with two other regular coyotes. I walked right up to it and it stayed so snapped some pics. The other coyotes run long before you get near it. I think the low/ neutral honor fits author’s story better . At the start he wasn’t a good guy as time went on he changed ways. But wasn’t a perfect moral compass so the coyote fits well as his spirit animal.
