One thing I have come to realize is that we as Christians blindly align with Israel because they are Israel. However, I think that while i do pray for and believe in God's plan for Israel, we can't forget that Israel is under the sway of the enemy due to their rejection of Jesus as Messiah. Their actions may not always be honorable in light of this, just as Hamas's actions aren't either. We don't throw away the teachings of Christ to love and pray for our enemies because it is Israel being attacked. We wholeheartedly pray for Israel's victory and salvation, but that they do so according to the rules of war. They know the rules of war (even God's old testament laws concerning it) and can't disregard them because they are Israel. I pray that God's will be done and we need to be mindful that these things must occur for scripture to come to pass. Do we hate Palestinians because Hamas is fighting against Israel, or do we condemn Hamas and pray for Israel to have victory over the enemy. I believe we absolutely should. I stand with Israel and the Palestinians because God wants them BOTH to know Him. He died for EVERYONE to be saved. We should vehemently oppose Hamas and their hatred and want peace for Israel and the innocent lives in Palestine. To do otherwise would be akin to taking a side in the race wars that occur in America. We are ALL image bearers and we can't forget that under ANY circumstances. The love of Christ compels us to love our enemies and pray for them. Not just the people we like or do good by us. Israel has every right to defend themselves against vicious attacks, but not at the expense of innocent lives and Hamas has no right to attack Israel and bring calamity on Israelies or the people of Palestine.

The Lord brought the scripture to my heart on the day my niece married (end of September this year), He clearly said " people will marry as they always have,be ready for my return ". I realize this isn't exactly one Scripture, but He definitely wanted me to know this. It was just a short time after that day when Hamas attacked Israel. I keep trying to tell my lost friends and family how Jesus doesn't want anyone to perish for eternity. They keep ignoring me,as many of my fellow Christians can probably relate to. Hey brother I’m a Christian American contractor working in Israel. We. Agree on most points. I enjoy the material you guys put out. I often struggle with the question of am I doing enough for God. I work for the US Embassy here in Israel. So as you can imagine working for this administration it’s rather challenging for a Christian. I do occasionally get the chance to share the Gospel with some of the Jewish people and sometimes with Americans that have never heard about the Gospel. I do not have a church here that I feel comfortable with. Not to mention the war that’s going on. I have been here for a year now. I spend time in the word everyday and watch your videos and other Christian videos. I have felt God working on my heart since I got here in Israel. I was definitely living in sin and of the world before. I have accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and savior. I fully believe and trust in his finished work on the cross. I have spent many hours in the word and prayer everyday but I still worry have I done enough. I know satan continues to try and make me feel that I am not good enough and haven’t done enough.
