RAE AND CHADE. My dauter and my son inlaw married and brought 1 of ther friends with them. It was a 2 hour drive. And it only takes like 15 minutes to go on line and become a ordained minister. So he married them. Good thing there friend went with them. Because they had no idea it would be hard to get a Ordained Minister. and it was so simple to do

Absolutely love it when parents don't force their kids to attend events that they don't want to attend especially if they're just going to be miserable. Letting the kids have quality time with grandparents or other parent is so much kinder. And you got to spend adult time with each other, which is very important to your relationship also. We had a children b4 we got married. We were on a family vacation, Cheyenne Frontier Days, and decided 2 get married. His grandparents stood up for us and it was nice. 39 yrs later and 4 kids, 7 grandchildren and still enjoying each other. On our fifth date we went and got married. Everyone swore that it wouldn't work. That was on June 17th,1965 and we are still moving on. My wife Barb is a Saint that is the main reason for it to work. Congratulations, you two. It's about time! I love you guys. You were talking about your ring getting eaten, well, we had a mini Schnauzer named Gus. Gus was fond of burying the cans the neighbors threw over the fence. One day, we saw a can one minute, five minutes later it disappeared. We looked all over the yard, no sign of it. We deduced that Gus had eaten it! We still (30 years later )cannot find it.

Congratulations Rae, and Chad! Having a wedding in Vegas makes the decisions much easier. My husband, and I never had a honeymoon. We got married by the Justice of the Peace in Virginia cost us $36.00, then went out to eat at the Outback, and back to work the next morning. Yeara later, when our 20th Anniversary came we decided to have that honeymoon we never had. We flew to Vegas for a week, had a blast. Watched Elton John's last concert, went to one of the Cirque De Soleil shows, and just checked out the town. We will go again, and check out Red Rocks, and a few of the unique museums, and take some of the tours when it's a little cooler outside. We're happy for you both!
