I have very bad experience in bajaj service center recently after the transfer of some good mechanics. Since my last two services they never fitted bolts of my mud gaurd and I've to buy 6 bolts in last two visits but the worse thing is they thrown my air filter without removing flame arrester , so I've to buy new one , they also taken out so many hose and connectors of EVAP system. Now my bike stops when i pushes to over 80 KM/h because of lack of proper fuel supply. My service was done for 5 years with two mechanics and they both were very good but now the service center recrutited corrupt mechanics and they're changing parts of motorcycle and when i show them what they don't to my bike then entire service centre employees saying you can buy new ones , so far they stolen my bolts , rubber cap of chain gaurd in last two services and they fitted them into others , hose of EVAP system rear brake shoes pad and without changing master cylinder kit they charged me money for it and they're not even resolving it then i have to visit local garage and they changed my master cylinder kit and shown me the condition even they didn't filled brake oil in it . Really bad experience from Bajaj service centre. E

My v 15 going to be 6 years in August. And last week while I clean my bike tank due to flood water inside tank.i also checked mileage it gave around 57kmpl in 1.2litre bottle,both in highway town and village road. Wat is ur mileage?

I get around 40-45kmpl when I'm not riding on trips. Otherwise on trips and long rides it comes around 35-40kmpl with heavy luggage and my bike also had added weight. I generally cruise around in 90kmph.

@@keditetso7472 That's why it has a better mileage. You can get the fuel mixture adjusted to increase the performance, but it might reduce your mileage.

It could be that your battery/charger has some issues, get it tested. It is also always advisable to use relay for all electronics to even the load on battery. You have to check the brake shoe housing, get it cleaned properly and then fit the brakes again. I hope you didn't overuse the last brake shoes.

hello there. i have v15 for two years. when i went to the service they said there was no solution. rpm is irregular. as the clutch is pulled, the rpm high by itself. do you know a solution? or can you ask for me? i couldn't get a response from technical services in my country.

Hi, Is the rpm irregular at idle or when you ride? If there's an issue with clutch plates then it can affect rpm while riding otherwise at idle get the choke wire checked that it's not cracked or broker from anywhere. Turn the handle around at idle and see if there's any change in rpm, the accelerator cable gets stiff so has to be replaced in time/oiled/lubricated. I faced this issue and it was due to my accelerator cable. What country are you from?

@@eaglewingedrider while idle. Let me tell you a scenario. I'm driving on the road by motorcycle. I approached the lights and pressed the brakes. Near to stop I pulled the clutch and stopped. The rpm is irregular when the motorcycle is idle or pulled the clutch. With the front brake holded, I take my hand off the clutch. if i compress the motor, the sound is cut off. It is not clear when it will happen. Sometimes it doesn't. Sometimes it does it on the first run. No problem going on the road. It only happens when I stop or close to stop. I will look at the parts you said. If im find a suitable time, I will shoot video and share your link here. I live in Turkey.

@@kiprit557 Ohkay, now I completely get you! I've even faced this. So Firstly, do look into the things I mentioned above majorly your choke and accelerator wires. The thing is that we only notice this when the bike comes to a stop actually it even happens while riding. Also one major thing get the Rpm and Fuel supply adjusted from the carburettor like you see in this video towards the end. Ideally you wires replacement or lubrication must help. Also, are you using a different handlebar?

If I can't do it myself, I'll ask the bile repairman. At least if there is a problem, I would say the authorized service did. :D It can be difficult to find someone who does the Milage setting. @@eaglewingedrider my v15 im working with injection. i looked at the carburetor adjustment. there is no screw there. there is only a wire of acceleration. there must be a problem with the ecu. thank you again :)

Could you please mention which engine oil grade best for this bike.. actually I m also same bike user but engine vibration starts from speed on 60 other hand city mileage 29 high way 34 no one can’t fix it even Bajaj service point... bike already runs almost 9000km.. thanks

Hi, you should go for Motul 20W 40 engine oil. Vibration will reduce at the same time do get the engine bolts checked and tighten up. For mileage also consider getting the carburettor fixed and tuned through Carbon machine for best average. Maintain proper tyre pressure at all times.

What is the frequency of renewing air filter and what are 2 types of self starter motor?

The frequency of changing air filter depends on the conditions you ride in, it majorly depends on its choking and dust accumulation. (have to be checked frequently) The major starter motor is one which is placed besides the engine, a small motor which is responsible for starting the bike through self so if the bike is having issues starting through self and kinda breaking then the self motor needs to be changed.
