@@johnfurlong457 depending on the steroid compound, it will produce dry gains or wet (water) gains. Not all compounds are created equal. The purpose of creatine is to pull water into the muscles for hydration. This will lead to a somewhat softer muscle tissue and somewhat increase in strength. You wouldn't want to take creatine in the final weeks for a bodybuilding show as it hinder the striated look during the drying out period. But prepping for a weight lifting competition, creatine would be beneficial.

During my stint with covid my lungs lost 30% capacity and were so inflamed I struggled to breathe, even as a lifelong runner. I was prescribed oral steroids to reduce the inflammation. Truth be told it was the absolute nastiest tasting medicine I've ever taken. They did their job and I was able to breathe normally again, eventually making a full recovery. The funny thing about it all was; it was like my body regressed to puberty. I had zits everywhere, even more so than when I was a teenager (currently late 30s). I and my doctor had a good laugh, but still; these drugs should only be issued by trained medical personnel and taken as indicated. I had goofy yet expected side effects, so I can only imagine the potential dangers of taking non-prescribed steriods. Cheers!

If you use and not abuse the biggest side effect are still acne. I have a few friends who got severe acne from extremely low dosages. Another problem with using are the periods you’re off and your testosterone levels crashes. You feel like a bag of garbage. It’s a vicious cycle if you use long enough. You start with on and off cycles to always on but with higher and low dosages.

When he mentioned the steroids under a doctor's supervision, idk if he mentioned trt at all, just glossing over the fact that testosterone can actually improve your quality of life and vastly outweigh even the worst side effects (which are often minimal). He just seems to lump testosterone in and assume it causes the same effects as tren or halo, which would be humorously inaccurate if it wasn't pushing decades of stigma, fear mongering and outdated medical understanding that has either been disproven or advanced for decades

So I am a skinny guy. I have good workout habits and work ethic but a back condition that flares up several times a year forces me to go much easier at the gym or risk worsening and prolonging the pain. I live in a cycle of working out and nearing a point where I feel confident with my body and progress and inevitably hurt my back doing something (often something totally benign like petting my cat or sneezing, etc) and then watching my body and self esteem waste away for 4-6weeks after each flare up. For people like me who don’t do any competitive athletic sports or competitions, why shouldn’t I ask my doctor about steroids? Why shouldn’t people like me who aren’t able to gain weight and put on muscle look for away to protect and increase the gains we make at the gym? I’ve been on this cycle for ten years now and I’m no better off today than I was when I started. It’s very demoralizing.

I was a skinny and thought I couldn’t gain weight. The problem is like all skinny guys you think you’re eating enough when you’re actually not. Also eating big for a week or two weeks isn’t going to help. You need to eat big for about 3 months to see any real change, combine this with resistance training and you will grow. You can think of it like a cycle (steroid cycles normally last around 12 weeks), get yourself focused and for 3 months make sure you eat your calories surplus - even when you don’t feel like eating. Eat. The training comes second after your diet, get to the gym (if you can) 4 times a week. If you apply calories sur plus with training for a prolonged period of time you will see results. The probably with us skinny guys is we don’t give it enough time. The benefit to being a skinny guy is eating big for 3 months means you can throw in quite a few cheat meals - at the end of the day you have to get them calories down.

You are better off not using at all. I did a cycle of Superdrol 10 years ago. I gained 40 lbs of muscle in a month . I also damaged my joints and started having blood sugar issues.

This is so random but I was thinking about how amazing how different glands in the body (like the thyroid) evolved from single cell organisms. It’s almost like evolution is a conscious process identifying needs and possible biological solutions to effectively overcome functional or environmental issues. If I were religious, this to me would be proof of god “creating” man and animals with deliberateness rather than a point of contention challenging the narrative of religions like Christianity. Idk it’s just interesting to think maybe nature and the earth as a whole has a self regulating consciousness rather than millions of random systems of biological homeostatic checks and balances and process for development.

@@STEAK762 haha idk if you’ve ever seen A “Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy” but they ask a super computer for the ultimate answer to the universe and after years it finally finishes calculating and says, “42”. I feel like there is an ultimate answer that ties religious beliefs together with science and persisting philosophies and kind of proves somehow the archetypes and teachings in many religions based on scientific principles or historic events. But you’re right, everything is related in one way or another.

Most men over 30 will only have positive results if you take a TRT level amount and use the correct PCT
@yeee3212 жыл бұрын
Might lose your ability to have kids, and taking TRT means you will have to be on that for the rest of your life because it eradicates the natural testosterone production in your body

why build muscle? steroids seem useless unless it's for treating a disease of some kind. i go gym to boost my confidence and to get more motivation to study. i see improvements every week, so it's working. caffeine is the real problem there. 300mg in a pre-workout cup, before gym, 150mg from the morning energy drink(to be awake and attentive at courses) and another 150mg before study. it's a bit too much for a day, but i don't know how to substitute them in a healthy way. do you have any ideas? not taking caffeine is counter-productive at the moment, as i don't have eneugh energy to work out 3 hours in a row, miss important stuff from courses and lose my interest in studying over the urge to sleep.
