Riding has always been a dream for me. But due to parents that was not an option until I moved out. When I did get the money to ride I made clear to my girlfriend. If you refuse to let me ride you can move out of my apartment this instant. Over the years she has bought up her dislike of me riding. And she gets the same answer. If you dont allow me to ride then it's over. We are still together and I still ride

I'm 36 and I find people born before 95 usually have great respect for their elders because we were raised that way. The other day I was getting breakfast at McDonald's and there was 2 old Vietnam vets in line in front of me and one noticed the other guys military hat and they started having a conversation about Vietnam and when, where and who they served for. It was pretty cool listening to their stories waiting for my breakfast and just felt a huge amount of respect for the two. Even though everyone else their buying and waiting on food could care less I thought it was awesome they were both alive and just happened to run into each other at a McDonald's 0f all places lol.

From YouTubing cars I started YouTubing motorbikes with my partner Kari Rajatalo from Finland. I'd definitely give these cool dudes credit as being "real" riders however when you think about it, he didn't start till his 60s. He's 81 now and started riding 20 years ago. A late start is better than never but you gotta admit that is pretty late in life to pick it up. Amazing that he's caught on and stuck with it. I'm 36 and started riding motorbikes when I was 7. I'll have over 30 years of experience before I hit 40. I'd say those of us in that category, despite not being "old" yet, are also "real" riders.

70 Years old, Just bought my 2015 FLHP Road King 6/20. Started riding in the early 80's. Took a break from riding for 32 years until 25 years as a Correction Officer and living life like a Viking caught up to me. My legs are pretty well shot. One of my kids suggested I should get one of those motorized scooters. Without even thinking about it I snapped back at my daughter and told her a scooter or a walker is a one-way ticket to Crippleville. The Viking had awoken. I knew I would get more exercise for my legs at a red light on my Harley then hobbling around with a cane and struggling up stairs. My Harley has been a lifesaver. Hell, I'm thinking of trying an Ironbutt 1000 from Seminole H-D to Mobil Bay H-D and back in October. :D BTW, love the videos, Sean. Very entertaining.

I'm 56 and I live on the Gold Coast in Queensland, Australia. I love these videos, and I am getting more inspired by observing a bloke doing what he loves instead of just 'surviving'. I ride about an hour everyday to and from work on my Kawasaki Versys 08' 650cc and have been riding street bikes on and off for about 15 years. Keep up the great work 'Bike and Beards'
