I think the people who complain CS buses are always overcrowded just don't have a sufficient bus network. Real cities have such a dense bus network that if you try replicating it in game nobody would ride half the routes. I love managing transport in game and it's like 40% of all I do.

Me too! It's just so satisfying watching all the cims walk about our roads. To the point that i make my public transport inefficienct just to see them transfer 😂

I normally forget about busses in CS, I normally do trams first, than traines, than subways. That normally works. Than highways for industry in and out, having shiping going on. Than might do small airport somewhere. But, I do not think that the airports do so much when highways and shiping is a thing.

Thank you for showcasing my city Egg, it was wonderful to watch you explore it! I think that watching you gawk at the metro station at the start was exactly how I needed to start my day :) Sense the savegame that I uploaded I have started to work on the lake in the valley because of the release of the Mountain Village pack, but I'm just not super good at rural builds which is why so much just dead ends. The biggest edition to the city sense this savegame is probably the massive international airport. I noticed that my node controller and TMPE settings didn't translate to the savegame, I'm not sure how to though, not a tech savvy person. There were also a lot of trees missing, not sure why. Again, thanks for showcasing it, and if I can submit a finished version at a later date I might :) P.S. This is like my 3rd youtube comment lmao

OE is so nice and respectful.. this city clearly took a good amount of effort but I can tell the player is not very experienced. Lots of jank here and weird land use choices. For instance, having the space elevator in an industrial area. Recipe for a traffic disaster. Also metros and train stations serving low density areas. Just something you wouldn't really see. Sky scrapers in a city that has an abundance of land yet to be developed

What's wrong with station serving low density? Tokyo and Jakarta has a lot of them. With a good microtransit and/or walkability, there'd be soo many people used those stations.

I love when people make metro above ground/elevated in suburban areas! That is so much more realistic. Often metro systems at least in the US are not underground outside of the dense city center areas, or small sections.

@ and this is a videogame! Doesn’t take away the fact that i don’t see any effort in keeping your city in the green. I can do it. So so can others. Would be cool to see one not in de red for a change in a showcase. Cool that people can make cool road networks etc but play the simulation and challenge yourself to keep it in the green like you keep your traffic in the 90%
