How do you get the hard pellets out? Cook vid
@ImHungryMK3 жыл бұрын
that is the million dollar question!!! Here is a link to the auger removal RT made. kzbin.info/www/bejne/iouroXZ-a6t5fpI , it is not fun at all. However I have used a AshVac on the hopper side while using torch on the fire cup side of the tube to burn it out. After 15 minutes I turned on the bullseye and helped the auger move with some pliers. You have to be careful and I think I was lucky but it worked.

@@ImHungryMK Thanks for this video, and this comment. We just had a plumber come in and remove 80'-85' of 3" pipe, which was filled with wet pellet wood. My brother used it as kitty litter, and I flushed a bunch down. We are unclear on who should pay what. I think that he also did some damage before hand. I'm shocked at how bad this is.

Wow! Sorry that happened. This video can definitely give a visualization on what happened. Good luck!

@@ImHungryMKYou're welcome. By the way, I just recalled that he didn't remove 80'-85'. That was just how much it was plugged up. I think that they removed about 40'-60'.

Is there any way to safely use the pellet grills in the rain?
@ImHungryMK Жыл бұрын
Depends on the pellet grill, some do better then others. Best to look at how well any openings to air are protected from things like rain seeping in or splashing up from the ground.

Oh my gosh. This is what must have happened. I was grilling today. I thought I bought bad pellets. My Traeger cut off 3 times. I finally cleaned it and tried again. Then it cut off again. Shucks. Now. Do I vacuum out these wet pellets? They look like dust

I would

Wow that sucks about the Traeger! I know this is a bit old but I've moved onto the Recteq Dualfire1200 from the Bullseye. Did you ever purchase a new grill or reach out to Traegar to see about a replacement?
