Most semi popular hoi4 youtubers cheat, around the 500 to 80000 subs range is where it's most prevalent. If you go through backlogs of many hoi4 youtubers you can find a video where they spawn in 40000 fighters, or a war where you can see they took near zero casualties. You can absolutely 'cheese' the games war system. VERY easily with fighter+paradrop spam. Even if you don't instantly capitulate a country, you can just take out a countries backlines with paratroopers and then run them down when they have no supplies because of how no step back changed the game without accounting for stuff like paratroopers. The reality is, they're just really really awful at the game but they want to make that hoi4 ad revenue, or they have imposter syndrome. If you have an entertaining personality, that's actually enough for content. Hoi4 is just a backdrop for humor and fun and imagination. Some people don't get that. Isorrowproductions is the staple for edgy brainrotted zoomerhumor, and he used to be really god awful at hoi4 and editing and even finishing games, frequently he'd just frontline battleplan+AFK and then add commentary over in post in the early days. Just saying it's not a surprise that he's bad, most hoi4 youtubers are.

You should use more army group frontlines and less right clicks. Use single army frontlines only for concentrated attacks, but not for the whole front. When marking an army group frontline you should use Shift+RMB rather than just RMB to mix the armies. Never overconcentrate your army and don't leave frontlines unmanned and unmanaged, even if you are not at war Also don't use defensive line to defend a front. You lose one tile and troops will automatically try to get back there and it may easily result in high casualties. Also you don't get any planning bonus from that. When you are fighting on all fronts you should prepare an offensive on one and completely seal the rest shut. To do so, you have to use infantry with some artillery support and at least lvl 2 engineers (the more the merrier), AA support and battalions and also AT support if there are a lot of enemy tanks. Those should also have the bonuses and width appropriate for their terrain. If possible add some artillery and forts on top, draw an army group front line with an attack plan to get the bonus. You may also add Static Warfare army idea on top and assign Ambusher trait to generals and Unyielding Defender for a field marshal. That is a recipe for an impenetrable defense. Only if you are sure that your defense is solid you can choose a front where you attack. Always try going for encirclements and do them manually, but you should still use an army group attack plan for the planning bonus

This game is so ahistorical. In real history Polish nationalists fought with National socialista. One of the National camp even was killed in con. Camp. In reality Bolesław Piasecki created an anti nazi militia called Confederation of the nation and fought for indepence. Also Roman Dmowski was strict anti german, and he saw a possibility to form alliance with soviets against Germany.
