I really like the mix of the shortened streams! In my opinion it is much better to have the best clips with some context, than just a short video with all the funny stuff thrown at you in short out-of-context clips. I really enjoy seeing tommy learn new stuff about hoi4 (mods) and cooperating and communicating with the other players. Not necessarily in the form of RP, but more so in the form of relaxed gameplay. I can really afford the time to watch streams, so these vids are a real blessing for me. Thanks for the cool content Tommy and thanks to Markoni for the great editing!

I honestly think that Tommy should try playing the game called Wargame Red Dragon. It's 6+ Years at this point. But there has been a dedicated player base, if small. I think he'd enjoy it. Either playing as West or East-Germany. Soviet Union, Poland, Czechoslavakia, Finland, Yugoslavia, USA, England, Canada, Anzac, Israel, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Netherlands, South and North Korea, China, and Japan. It's a real-time strategy game. You have to be smart with your resource management ( Just called points) You can buy a Super-heavy tank. But might be low on AA. AA consists of AA meant for Helicopters and AA meant for Airplanes. Then they themselves are split into more categories. There are Guntanks. That uses kinetic rounds from 20mm-76mm. If in range it can be deadly. But the drawback is the range is limited. Then there are missiles. Ranging from Guided to Fire & Forget. They tend to have great range. But have two downsides. Whereas the Guntank you are likely to hit. You might get missiles that don't even come close to hitting. Then there is also the fact they fire slower. All AA comes in three types. Infrared, SALCOS, and Radar. Radar is most commonly used. Also, tends to have the highest accuracy and range. But has the downside being able to be spotted by certain planes called SEAD that can locate and fire even longer-range missiles at you. SALCOS I believe are all guided. Alright range but fire slow and if it misses you might be screwed. Then Infrared tends to always be F&F. Some AA has long-range. But most tend to be short. Tanks can range from cheap 1940's surplus war material all the way up to the 21st century. Most tanks don't have specific roles like in HOI4. Where you have Light that is good for fast breakthroughs. In Wargame. You have Modern tanks that are usually combine everything together. Speed, armor and mobility. While buying a WW2 Light tank can cost you 10pts. An M1A2 Abrams can cost you 180pts. Most cheap tanks use HEAT rounds. In-game rounds are basic. HEAT will always deal 1 HP of damage. Even if the pen isn't high enough to go through a tank. But will rarely be able to use that. While more modern tanks are Kinetic. The closer you are to the target, the more AP you have. All tanks have 10 hit points. But a tank can have 10 frontal armor. If a gun that fires has 15 AP. Then it will deal 4 damage to the tank. Artillery comes in three forms. Mortars, MLRS, and Howitzers. Mortars can range from sizes of 60mm all the way up to 160mm. Mortars are usually used for shooting smoke rounds and providing fast fire support onto targets. The bigger the round the more a round can damage and disperse the smoke. MLRS is rocket artillery. These themselves come in two forms. HE rounds ( High-Explosive) that are great for stunning and killing Infantry and lightly armored targets. Then there are Cluster rounds. These are only able to kill vehicles. Can stun Infantry. But not damage them. Save for a few, tend to fire in wide areas. Cluster tends to have only 3 AP and 7 AP. There is one unit that has 20 AP and super accurate. But that's the wildcard. Not a single armored unit has more than 4 top armor. Which is what Cluster will be hitting. All Cluster is HEAT so if it hits, then it'll damage them anyways. Howitzers are likey Mortars. But tend to fire farther away and longer aim time. But can snipe units. If used on Infantry then can be decimated. Recon is a very important part. All units in game have optics. Ranging from Bad up to Exceptional. Allowing you to spot units far away. The game can be a bit funny with an enemy unit firing at you in a forest not far away. But if your recon is bad. Then you might not be able to see them. Recon also has units ranging from the role of passive to offensive units with tanks and transport units. ATGM's are guided missiles. Some very select units have F&F missiles. But these range from Infantry guided up to Helicopter and plane guided. Most tend to have more AP value than even most tanks have on their gun. But requires you to keep a direct line of sight on the target. Except for the F&F missiles. Helicopters are used in multiple roles. Such as transports and Gunships. More modern helicopters are more adept at taking on armor. While lots of Vietnam era Helicopters are adept at the anti-infantry role. Infantry is one of the most important roles. With such a wide variety to them that'd, I'd have to write another essay on them. But you have 4 roles that an Infantry squad falls into. Manpads - Carrying a short-range portable Anti-air launcher. ATGM Infantry- As the name would apply, It can shoot long ranges to take on tanks. Line Infantry - This is commonly used Infantry from Militias up to Shock troopers like the US Marines. Then there are Commando's - Elite forces. Such as SAS, Fallschirmjager, Spetznaz, and Navy Seals. Costing the price of a small tank. These are usually always able to take on Infantry lower than them. They aren't uncommon, but if you see them, then you usually want to prioritize them. Airplanes are also the most varied sort. From planes such as the A-10 Warthog all the way up to stealth bombers like the NightHawk. You got your Anti-tank role planes. Usually carrying ATGMs that are the deadliest of them all. Rockets from some of the more dated airplanes and then cluster bombs. You have ASF that are meant to take on the anti-air role for the sky. Having long-range missiles able to shoot farther than any ground unit can save for the artillery. Bombers bomb, but can have really light loads or these giant behemoths of a bomb load. Then SEAD as mentioned before. Able to find and locate any Radar targets. But can be rendered useless if the player is able to turn off their AA in time. Navy, was the big selling factor of this game compared to the two previous titles. The biggest ship you will get is a Destroyer. But these are giant behemoths. Where tanks only get 10HP. These can get 300 and so on. They also have cannons that fire farther than any tank or ATGM can go. With anti-ship missiles and CWIS to shoot any down. Both naval and airplanes have ECM that helps negate the accuracy of missiles. There is open ground, forests, and towns. You won't want to send in a tank squad by itself into a town and rarely a forest. As Infantry is able to swarm you easily and shoot your weak sides. Even if you are an M1A2, an RPG-7 will still kill you with ease if you aren't careful. But while tanks are alright in a forest, and not good in towns. It can not be said for infantry vice-versa. Infantry is easily killed out in fields. Even more so than tanks in forests and towns. There is a moral system. A gun depending on caliber. Can cause suppression. Sometimes stunning the target. But also causing a unit to go from calm to panicked. A Panicked unit will fire slower, be less accurate, and less likely to fully listen to your order. Income is gained by capturing these giant objectives on the field with a CV unit. CV's are expensive with a minimum of 100pts. But range from jeeps, CV Infantry, and tanks. If playing with a team. Then the income is divided between you at intervals. Finally into the supplies. You need to keep your vehicles and infantry supplies, healthy, and fueled. You can start a game with a FOB, which holds a lot of supplies. But are stuck in place for the rest of the game. Then you can get supply vehicles to move back and forth between the FOB and the frontlines. There are Helicopters and trucks. Helicopters are more easily spotted and expensive. But are fast, and hold a lot more usually. While trucks are a bit slower but can go into towns, forests, and the frontlines. If you are able, then you can make another FOB in a way. As you can mark a spot. Land your helicopters there, then have your trucks go there instead of the real FOB to resupply there. It might seem like a lot. But is quite simple as compared to all the mechanics of HOI4. If Tommy does hopefully play this. Then I recommend he mutes all chat in-game. As game chat outside of a game tends to be quiet... Not nice. It's just a bunch of people being edgy for the sake of it. But in-game chat tends to be tamer and centered around the match. I think Tommy could have a lot of fun with this game.
