I am a nurse who works in long term care and I've seen many people take their last breath and it's incredible to see and also heart breaking when you know they weren't ready.. I think it is an amazing honour and privilege to be with a person in their last moments. It is truly amazing though how much a body changes when the soul/spirit leaves.

I saw my husbands spirit leave his body. The light play around his face sort of shined. The light moved around his face. That was the night before he died. I did not know what the light play around his face so I asked a minister and he told me that it is his spirit leaving the body.

Once out of the body of Christ, how do I get back in. I've been told a curse is on me but I believe Jesus took curse at the cross. I've really gone to heck the past several years. Taking sin out and totally trusting in him again hasn't worked but, maybe I didn't try/wait long enough?

Karen, I heard a preacher say, What it takes to become saved is also what it takes to stay saved. So confess your sins, repent of your sins (that means stop the sinning), believe that Jesus took the curse and punishment that you needed to pay and He paid it for you (which is dying and going to hell), trust Him that He did that for you, then obey Him. That same preacher said, If you do what Jesus tells us to do, which is basically summed up in Luke 10:27, we'll make it to heaven. And He answering said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbour as thyself. If you really love God, you'll obey the teachings in the New Testament. If you give in to temptations and sin again, ask Jesus to forgive you again, then ask His help to make you stronger for the next time. That's how we grow! And talk to Him like you do to your friends. He wants a relationship with you! I hope this helps.

Dear Pastor, I would like to respectfully ask some questions. Please help me understand Ecclesiastes 9 which says the dead know nothing and do not praise the LORD. Also if as the Bible says, God has no pleasure in the death of the wicked why would there be eternal hellfire? A dear deceased friend who had mental health problems and was very sensitive and kind, lost his sanity over fear of this. I think the reason it is important to believe in soul sleep is because demons masquerade as loved ones and wreak havoc in people's lives. According to Revelation 16:17-21, the second coming of Jesus will trigger a global pandemonium. Having raise the righteous dead and living, who is transformed into an immortal soul, the world will be destroyed those account for the saint to be in heaven for 1000 years. According the Revelation 20:1-6, The saint will be judging with Jesus in heaven while Satan will be left on a desolate earth with no one alive to tempt for 1000 years. It makes sense because 1 Thessalonians 4:16-18 states that Jesus is coming with trumpets and the angels in His own Glory and that of His Father. It accounts for the thunder, lightning, and earthquake mentioned in Revelation 16: 18 with verse 21 talking about large hail stone falling from heaven. Two things are simultaneously happening. Firstly, God comes for he righteous living and dead who are both transformed and put on incorruption and immortality [1 Corinthians 15: 50-57 & 1 Thessalonians 4:16-18]. With all the global earthquakes, mountains moving out if place, lighting and thunder, gigantic hail stone, cities crumbling under the presence of THE KINGS OF KINGS and LORDS OF LORDS, the unrighteous will be killed. Even his brightness is enough to cause the ungodly to flee to the mountains for escape but there will be no hiding place. While the righteous is caught up with the Lord, the unrighteous will alive will be slain. The unrighteous dead stay in the grave until after the 1000 years [Revelation 20:5]. Apparently, with the world devastated and no one to deceive on the earth, Satan is trapped, with plenty of time to contemplate his mistake and the final judgement and death [Rev. 20:14] along with all the unrighteous through time that will be brought back to life to face the eternal death [Rev. 20:13]. Satan during this short span of God resurrecting the ungodly for judgement, Satan will go on a deceiving spree to gather the world to fight against Jesus who, after 1000 years in heaven with the saint, with now return to make this earth the place where the meek can inherit [Matthew 5:5]. However, not in the delipidated state it is in. Having purge the earth, and all the ungodly that had been brought back to life to face their judgement along with Satan and all his angels, all that will remain with be ash. Thus the eternal death where sin and sinners will be no more Malachi 4:1,3. This is proceeded by the earth getting a makeover by the Creator for which the New Jerusalem, with the saints in it will descend and Jesus will dwell with His people here [Revelation 21].

Sorry but we don't all have eternal life. According to the scripture, only God who alone is immortal [1 Timothy 6:15.16]. We get eternal life by His own sacrifice and us accepting this free gift after we confess of our sins and letting Jesus live in our life daily. If you then die in Christ, you stay dead until the second coming. You are unconscious as if asleep and the next thing you know Jesus has return. Ecclesiastes 9:5.6 states that when a person dies he knows nothing. In Genesis, the body + spirit (breath of God) = soul. One does not exist without the other. Like King David, who has not yet ascend to heaven until the second coming of Jesus [Acts 2:29-34] the righteous dead does not know anything, even if family members come to honour him [Job 14:21]. So where does the idea that we all have eternal life comes from? Genesis 3:4 [the immortality of the soul].

What happens when you die? your body (body shell) ends, your spirit continues to live, your mind is much more active, you can feel, smell, see, here so much more, the spirit world is so real as your body is empty, if a Christian you will ascend or angels will carry you, or you will descend to the lower world if not a Christian, no more repentance, no more calling to God for help, it's done. Why don't churches hardly ever preach this anymore? Because they have a watered down version of Christianity? Or perhaps they realised that it does not fit the Character of God who is the just judge Genesis 18:25, who is always restorative, even Sodom and Gomorra are restored in Ezekiel 16. I don't get it. Isn't a person made of the breath of God and the body formed from the ground? This is a soul, or person = dust + breath. One does not exist without the other [Genesis 2:7]. In this context, the Hebrew word nephesh is applied. Adam became a soul, he did not acquire one. Then the breath of God is just that. Job 27:3 said that "All the while my breath is in me, and the spirit of God is in my nostrils." Moreover, Jesus will return with trumpets and the angels and the dead in Christ will rise, [1 Thessalonians 4:16]. Till then, the righteous dead knows nothing. Once a person dies, the soul seize to exist because the body goes on to decompose with the spirit (breath) returns to God [Ecclesiastes 12:7]. Also, Ecclesiastes 9:5,6 say that the living knows that they will die but the dead knows nothing. The point is, not until the second coming of Jesus does the dead in Christ, universally, will rise. How so? Because King David is not in heaven. His spirit is not floating around there. In Act 2:34, it states that David has not yet ascended into the heavens but he knew that God has the power to rise him up at the second coming. Job 14:21 states that a dead person does not know anything, even if family members come to honour him. If he is in heaven, as suggested, then he will definitely know what's happening because he is alive. According to 1 Timothy 6:15.16, only God alone who is immortal. So where does the idea of the immortality of the soul comes from? That is, the stuff you see in movies, read in books of fairy tale, medium telling, the afterlife? Genesis 3:4.

Jesus speaks about Gehenna,, an actual place outside Jerusalem that for Centuries was where they put the cities rubbish and the bodies of criminals, and other outcasts. The fires burned continually, and the worms didn't die and the smoke rose up continually. The parable of the Rich man and Lazarus is just that seriously. Sheol, and Hades are the place of the dead, in the old testament, righteous and unrighteous people went there, but the KJV translates them as Hell. If Eternal Conscious Torment was the reality, you think there might have been more teaching, detailed reasons why God would create a majority of humanity knowing that they would end up in ECT? What kind of God, called love, would do that and we would worship out of love rather than fear? It's utter madness, how can the infinite punishment fit a finite crime? So much Orwellian double think, with the elephant in the room is why? How? is that a just end for a human being who didn't choose to be in a sinful state, who didn't choose where to be born, that's why Christ came to save humanity!! He didn't fail, it's not just for a lucky minority who heard the Gospel and was able to respond, I can't watch these sermons anymore, so many ridiculously fatuous arguments! In my extremely humble opinion!!

Just because people are in church does not mean that they have a relationship with Him. They may know about Him bu do they KNOW Him. Do you have a personal relationship with Him?

This is also why it's put on you tube... I just happen to come across this message while searching something. My mama is really fighting to stay here, but the Lord is calling her home. She's served God all her life. Has been faithful to her church everytime the doors open. So why is she fighting... This message isn't taught near enough in our churches!!! She should be excited to know she's going to go be with the one who created her!! Please share this message, we as Christians need to hear it as well!!
