@@dango6266 The number is a bit misleading, since most of it came from absurd health and morale damage. It has comparatively shitty normal attack, though, so around 5000 of normal troop, less if it isn't effected by morale, tend to be enough. Also, you can just use orbital bombardment on it.

I did it once playing a dwarf megacorp that later changed into Empire. Easy to say, the colony was called Moria and after several battles I wasnt able to reconquer it. The irony.

honestly Stellaris had so many storylines that i could never stop playing it when mine triggered the same event as this short has instead of a beast i discovered a Civilization who i accidentally genocided cause apparently Oxygen was toxic to their race and digging them up exposed them to Oxygen.

I believe you need to send an invasion army of 20k-30k (dont bombard planet or it will fail)

Imagine if You could bassically make a planet a big trap. You go to war. Start this event And leave this planet as the only habitable one but it also has a big monster in it.

@@matijasostojic4288 Well when it happened to me I somehow still controlled the planet, one pop survived but I couldnt build anything and devestation was high, so they would have had to take the planet to win a war, I ended that game though so we will never know.

Fun fact, you can actually defeat the crystalin entity with only 7-10k troops and no bombardment. Since it’s just one ‘troop’ all your army’s damage is focused on it while it has to whittle away single units at a time. If you’re a hivemind it’s even better since you won’t be affected by the moral damage the creature does meaning you can potentially knock it down with even less forces

I love how Stellaris literally takes every Science Fiction and Science Fantasy setting every, in the history of ever and puts it all into one Universe. You can uncover like five different dimensions of both the Warp from Warhammer and Hell. Literally create the Doomslayer. Has references to Gears of War, Halo. Even other 4X experiences like the "Endless" Franchise. Star Trek, Star Wars. Aliens, literally can create a race that closely resembles them in function (there is also a mod where you can completely f*ck the galaxy by discovering Xenomorphs). This game is literally Every space fiction narrative kitchen sink and it is AWESOME.
