My jaw was dropped for most of this vid. Not the ending I expected, but I’d say not every woman abroad who gets pregnant is this lucky. When I taught in Korea a few years ago, another foreign teacher from the states that I knew got pregnant by a Korean guy during her first yr. Per her social media, she’s been raising her almost 10 yr old daughter as a single mom. Doesn’t seem like the father is present at all… I applaud Minho for not leaving her high and dry.

I lived with a narcissist in the 70s who knew I was on the pill. Being a vegetarian he was hell bent on getting me to get off the pill because “I was killing his life force.” I was 22 and foolishly in love so I agreed to take a break since I’d been on it for the past five years; big f#$king mistake! Two months later I realized I was pregnant. When I told him he said, “can’t be mine, I’m sterile.” Now I have always been a feminist believing in Pro Choice but since I had been adopted; the ninth of a Canadian family I decided to raise my son. I moved away from him before the baby was born and moved back to Pennsylvania. His mother found out through mutual friends after I visited them that my son was born and was “a real beautiful baby boy.” This man came from a wealthy family and so his mother was curious to see the baby. I was fearful imagining that they would try to take my son, therefore I ignored her letter. I imagine their narcissistic son convinced them that the baby wasn’t his. Fast forward to 2023. I am the grandmother of three beautiful grandsons and the proud mother of a 45 year old son who works for the federal government. The young woman in your story is beyond blessed to have two families and a young man who is willing to stick by her and raise his child. I hope everything goes smoothly and that they have a wonderful life together!

He also told me that if he wanted to have sex with women he knew he would expect me to go along with it; to be an adult. He thought he was God’s gift to women; to the world. It so lovely these two are working this out together. As for which country to give birth in, I would be dreading the huge financial toll it would take to give birth in the States, especially as a young couple that are just starting out in life together. Airfares for her parents to travel to and stay in Korea for the birth, would be cheaper, plus the after care for newborn babies and their mothers in Korea is apparently phenomenal.

There are pros and cons on each side, I'm sure they'll weigh them up and come to a decision that suits them as a couple, they both seem very responsible people.

If I were her I’d definitely give birth in Korea and see if she could have a parent come for like 1-2 months. The child will be American because their mother is. I have a friend who carries all sort test strips cause she's a lab tech, so if a guy wants to go raw she casually goes "So we either use protection or you have to follow me to my hospital tomorrow to do several tests" only few agree but it's honestly a smart move, cause who wants to go through the heartbreaking experience of itching and smelling strange? Korea allows you to maintain duel citizenship if I’m not mistaken. Japan as a country does require when they turn a certain age they decide to either give up their foreign citizenship or their Japanese citizenship. Korea doesn’t if I’m remembering correctly. As long as one of your parents is a Korean national and was born in Korea you can have citizenship there even if you were born outside of Korea without having to give up your other citizenship. I also believe America doesn’t make you give up your citizenship if you become a citizen in another country but you can still be held liable for your taxes if you maintain it and have to settle your taxes and pay a fee if you choose to give it up.

Everything seems to be going in the right direction but I like to wait until the baby gets here. That’s when the final moment of truth will happen. Him isolating himself from time to time is still a red flag and very concerning

OMG I can’t believe people in the comments find this as a happy ending. This just a risky situation. You’re alone, in a foreign country married to a man whom has his whole family there, in a country that will forever favour him instead of you! Nobody knows how this will end because they don’t even know each other and she’s already stuck there w/ the marriage and the baby and far away from her family. Chill hum

I got pregnant with my new boyfriends child he was an American airmen. With the 182nd army airborne rangers long range servalence division. We were only together for maybe 6 months. Before i got pregnant. But in all honesty we knew i could get pregnant and were already so in love we didnt mind if i got pregnant. Andnso of course i did end up conceiving our son. And from day 1. He was all in. ❤. An amazing father. 8 years later hes still here raising our son. Who's his namesake and to top it also looks and act just like his father. Hes a wonderful father. And a wonderful fiance. We hope to have the money to be merried soon. ❤i luvked out here in America. And found a real and old fashioned respectful man. 🙏. I do not take him for granted

This idea of getting married because of a child is not the best way to have a successful relationship and marriage. Not to mention they don't really know each other. Marriage is a life long commitment, not to mention adding a child into the mix.

The story aside, your whit and the quickness and ease of it is astounding. Stay this way and keep sharing your awesomeness. FOR THE ALGORITHM...FOR THE ENGAGEMENT!!!!

I am proud of this couple. I love this story and I do hope she sends an update. I'm not going to judge, safe sex is always best but I understand their situation cause it happened to ne as well. I got pregnant 3 months into the relationship and we got engaged well he asked me two months into the relationship without a ring and I said yes but we made it formal on my birthday after the pregnancy news. We wanted to get married before the baby was born but I ended up in the hospital the same week of our wedding and was on bed rest for 5 weeks. FFW to 9 months later we got married just 3 months before our baby made a year. 12 years later we are still together. It's been rough but we are still together. Been in and out of love with each other but we still love and are still in love . Put God first in your marriage and it will all work out. Proud of you both, especially your fiance for being a responsible gentleman. ❤

Lol as someone who went through a similar situation, use the condom 😂 we have a beautiful daughter that I wouldn't trade for the world but it's rough having so much responsibility while trying to still even get to know someone. Sending love to them though, hope they make it work. ❤️

Great ending to Meredith's story about getting pregnant. What a relief that Min-Ho is such a gentleman and also I am not surprised how scared he must be. Too quickly, too soon. If Meredith tries her best and is patient, it will turn out to be a beautiful love story. Good luck to Min-Ho and Meredith and their baby. I cannot wait to see pictures of the baby. Thanks for sharing.

It never ceases to amaze me the number of people who engage in unprotected sex, and then are astounded when a pregnancy occurs! What did you think was going to happen?
@michellekholmatov9562 Жыл бұрын
Took me 3 years of trying to have a baby 🤷🏽♀️ Not everyone gets pregnant right away.
@ReyRLopez Жыл бұрын
@@michellekholmatov9562 And I sympathize with you. It took my aunt 5 years. But it still doesn't mean you have unprotected sex assuming you won't get pregnant. I had sex with a woman once, and she said, "Oh, don't worry, I can't get pregnant." I thought she was sick. Until I asked, and she said everybody knows you can't get pregnant on your first time. OMG! Let's fight ignorance with knowledge and accountability.
