There is a video that shows that you can reset the gap by following the gap by tracing it with a utility blade . This seemed to work . Thanks for all of your great videos .

Dad: Son! Why did you failed your test Son: I... I... I... Dad: that’s it give me your Dan moi now! 1:45 he breaks the Dan Moi

This was great. I used sandpaper as you suggested and repaired the $12 souvenir jaw harp that my sister got me for my birthday back in August. That instrument got me started.

How does a Dan Moi compare to a flat style of harp like a Tuvan Khomus? It might be cool if they were to make the Dan Moi harps out of a little thicker frame while still keeping the reed thin.

Regarding the sanding, is there any concern as far as lead ingestion from any brass dust?

Besides the Dan Moi, is there another type of mouth harp that does not require teeth involvement or possibly damaging teeth?

I personally repaired my dan moi by bending it back to the other side. Didnt need to use any tools and the sound is still as loud as in the beginning

When I first started I would play slowly in front of a mirror. Letting the harp ring out for as much time as possible with each pluck

Also which harp are ye playing?

@@bebbcorpharpery7331 right now all I have is little ten dollar Schwartz very short shaft but I've already figured out how to raise and lower the pitch at least a little by increasing the speed of the air through the diaphragm
@bebbcorpharpery7331 Жыл бұрын
You can raise the pitch by raising your tongue. Lower the pitch by lower the tongue. Think word knee and tree for high pitch and words low and bowl for low pitch.

Hi! Dude you are very good in getting good vibes out of playing. Please what is the harp name and who is the master of one in the top right corner of this video. I mean the one with a ring in the middle of decks and third from the right top?

It is an untuned bass Holotrope by Oleh Knyeh. He normally tuned them to note, but I had him make one untuned for me.
