GH3 has a note limit of 4000 notes without hacking into the game; ExileLord has a few videos talking about changing that on the PC version but the Wii version hasn't been changed to do that yet

You'd have to use the PC version to put Soulless 5 onto GH3, but if you have a PC, why not just Clone Hero since it uses Unity as it's engine? What I want to see though is Soulless 5 on the PS2 version of the game.

Is it actually possible to force extended sustains to appear on Guitar in RB3? I know they show up on Keys, but only when using a keyboard controller (although there's a way to use a guitar controller and make the game think it's a keyboard on 360, none of the frets do anything during a song).

Does anyone know what the timing windows in frames or ms are? Clone hero's are huge, and this one looks more reasonable to me (coming as a DDR/ITGer, don't shoot me xD)... Audio to be played early or late if you increase the audio lag to make you hear it late or decrease the audio lag to make you hear it early. And timing window to be play the notes late or earlier. Increase to hit notes late, decrease to hit notes early.

Hammer-ons in Guitar Hero II required you to always hold the previous note before and during hitting the next one. If you let go of the previous note without holding the next one, you would automatically miss. Same went for pull-offs, and they were brutal. That is why in the tapping sections you missed so much: sometimes you weren't holding the previous note before hitting the next one because you were tapping the notes, not holding them (except for the green note or red note that you would sometimes hold down, best example being the Pirates part). Guitar Hero II is really hard to play. Never going back to it except for nostalgia

Maybe I am wrong, but I believe it still occurs here a little bit. In Guitar Hero I, you had to hold all the buttons in a row. For example, if you had a 3-note pull-off, you would need to hold all 3 notes down, strum the first note, then release each finger. If you didn't hold a certain note down when you pulled off, you would miss. Again I might be completely wrong but that is my experience with both Guitar Hero I and II.
