I use a Surface Studio 2 to teach math online. Same concept as a Surface Pro, but with more real estate. I think this is the best option for online teaching at this moment. Unfortunately Microsoft Whiteboard has become unusable since the last update; I really hope we get the old version back soon.

I'm using an Xp-Pen Artist 13.3 Pro, so I get more functionality with drawing but also a second screen to share contents with my students.

I have multiple people in a conference room. I need a Microsoft Surface replacement as we are moving from Teams to Slack & Google Workspace. In this scenario, which whiteboard will you recommend for a collaborative meeting (whiteboard) similar to surface.

I’m from Calgary - which is home to SMART Technologies- so I’ve had the chance to use their Whiteboard conference tools and have been quite impressed with them.

Do you have any recommendations for Wacom One settings for use with Microsoft Whiteboard? Is it best to use pen or mouse mode? What are the most useful button settings?

I did an extensive evaluation of devices for use in our corporate environment. I found that the mouse mode seemed to work slightly better than pen mode, but there were trade-offs either way. Sadly, Microsoft Whiteboard is not designed with built-in tablet compatibility or options. In the end, we found that people struggled with tablets and active pens. Our best option ended up being a touch screen laptop or 2-in-one laptop with an inexpensive fine point capacitive stylus. The best we found was a MEKO brand stylus. Very high quality and cost around $7 each. Everybody loves them. Even on a 2-in-1 laptop with an expensive active pen, the passive MEKO stylus was preferred nearly every time over that active pen. It's simple, effective, and the fine clear disc point works great.

How does this device perform for left-handed people? I understand you may not know yourself; but have you heard about this?

Actually - I was left-handed when I was younger! So I use both hands. It can be configured left-handed.
