Trump's campaign is smart to do informal podcasts. Everyone knows his policy platform by now, & he's appeared on endless adversarial formats. His main challenge is getting swing voters not to hate his guts, and he objectively comes off as more likeable on laid-back podcasts than he has most of the last 8 years. Conversely, Kamala's main challenge is policy-based since voters don't want 4 more years of Biden & she's not well known to a lot of people. She's also not as comfortable off-script, so all things considered it's not surprising that her podcast appearances have hurt her more than helped her.

Bringing up Logan Paul in a conversation about politics, even though he is talking to a candidate, is like asking a 5 year old who they want to be president; they can't even vote. It's degrading to you as a journalist because Trump's purpose is clear, support a group that has a rigid mindset, one that already supports him. Really he's just scratching a back. Also you completely miss the function of podcasts which is to appeal to the host's audience. This only happens if you play along with the host, it's like elementary school, you act nice to the kid with the cool toy so they let you play with it. In this case the the podcast host share their audience's approval with the guest; quid pro quo. "If you make me look good I'll tell everyone I love you." What am I saying? To talk about policy on Logan Paul's podcast would be against Trump's best interest. It would be like campaigning only to elementary kids who can't even vote for you. Good effort.

Are you ok, Americans? decide a vote by a podcast?
@Kudian28 күн бұрын
This will be my first year voting in a presidential election. I'm someone that doesn't like voting based on party, so I really look at the policies that each candidate has, as well as the character of their person. I've learned enough in my life and through school and experience to know that Trump is not fit to be president again. His policies are absolutely awful and would practically destroy our economy. His policies basically want to rid the entire middle class, something that has always made America unique to other countries and for the longest time had been successful. Moving away from policy, Trump's character is just so awful. I genuinely don't think he views people as people, but just tools for his using, and the policies and laws he wants to enact support that notion. Looking to Harris, there's definitely things I don't like with her. Some policies and opinions I just cannot get behind. But between the two, she is clearly the stronger candidate. Her policies would help to either better the economy or at least keep it stable. On top of that, the policies and laws that she wants to enact show that she cares about the American people, even if they don't care about her. She is doing what she believes is best for the country, and not what is best for her. Looking at those two overall, Harris is getting my vote. While I hope in the future there's a candidate that better fits my views, opinions, and values, Harris isn't a bad option for the time being.

I remember him praising himself “doing a good job” during the height of the pandemic while millions of people died. My family was strained because they were nurses, working triple shifts, no PPE and watching patients and colleagues DIE. No he’s not humble, and I’ve stopped viewing him as a normal human since.

@@Jam-g2w It says more about you than him or Harris that you stopped seeing a human being as a human being. You should really think on that. How did Biden and Harris treat those nurses when they took over? Who was it that praised them and got them supplies and who was it that got life long nurses fired? Do you remember when the cheers switched to jeers and why it was switched and who did the switching? Do you remember why the PPE was held up? Do you remember how it got fixed and who fixed it? Do you know who did the studies that created the leak and who did it behind Trump's back because it was a no-no? If you are actually listening and not just fighting, he has humbled himself every time about the hit to the ear. There are far more examples than that, but you said you don't see him as human, and until you fix that, the idea you are open to truth and reality doesn't exist. He is human and if you watched just 5 of his long form podcast interviews you would see he is an impressive, massively caring human who unlike so many puts his actual money, his money, not other's money, where his mouth is.

Kamala has appeared on 0 non scripted podcasts 😂. Change the title

They are all scripted. Negotiations are made beforehand on what they can discuss. It's why you never see any if the candidates ever get asked tough questions

It’s so confusing. Is Kamala running or Obama running?

If she wins it is Obama, if she loses it was all her.
