Thanks for showing us Nassau! I haven’t gotten off the ship either for probably the last five cruises however we did enjoy watching the construction going on. I sure hope all those poor people in the straw market get moved up to the shops when they are completed. Thank you for sharing your vacation with us! Alyssa take off the wig! I have been bingeing your videos lately and I just watched a video a few days ago and y'all stopped at Lukka Kairi because Senor Frogs was packed. In fact, I think it was the video that led me to your channel. I wanted to see what to do while in Nassau because we are planning our first cruise in December of 2023 for our tenth anniversary. Hi, I am new to your channel. The first video I watched was "Which cruise line is best". I absolutely loved your look, I was then surprised to find out that wasn't your regular style! Anyway, for twenty years, I spent about a month on Paradise Island, it is my happy place. After a major shift in life, that was no longer an option. I was on a cruise that stopped in Nassau and I had to go to my regular spots! Definitely had to eat at Cafe Matisse - it is so close to the cruise ships, facing that building with the flags in the beginning of this video, it is to the left. Find Gucci, then walk up that alley, it will be on the left. Sit in the garden. I then walked over the bridge to my "home", Paradise Island; visited friends all over, and had to have conch fritters. I will never not get off in Nassau!

We came back from the Symphony and it also felt like the good old days of cruising, 6,200 people onboard, always found a chair to eat and by the pool!

I think the issue with Nassau is the amount of shopping from the start. I'd rather walk a bit for shops, but it's typical.

Our Apex cruise in March 2022 had a destination change to Nassau, and we were not sure about it, but we're happily surprised how nice it was despite the construction. We sat at the very same table at Lukka Kairi - great views, good food, drinks, and service. The water in the Bahamas is Gorgeous!

We hopped on in Nassau last month and got a day pass at the Riu paradise it was amazing. Use to not be a fan of the port because there was only Atlantis but with all the changes I love it.

Alisa you ROCK that hair. I know you did it for a medical reason, but do you love it?? A few years ago I was so over my hair, I shaved it and kept it off over a year. Travel was fantastic. We didn’t like how you’d get off the ship and get funnelled into that building with all the vendors and then the smelly horses. But is the new development going to just be like all the other cruise ports? The water at that bar looks stunning. Miss it so much. We loved that class of ship but haven’t been on any of them since their upgrades. It’s such a nice size ship
