I as raised in the north and raised with manners. Growing up I thought my parents were so strict with who we had as friends, where we went and what we did in our spare time, besides teaching us manners. They kept us busy learning and doing various things..see a desire in something, then show the child how to use it, take them to someone who can, but didn’t force us to be active in things we were not interested in, example one of my children was shy and I made them all be in the outdoors, so this child was quiet and talked when others were not there. But if I sat on the porch or worked in the garden, he was there talking and helping. Little did I know he would grow up to get his doctorate in plant science and bugs, microbiology in both subjects. Now works testing new things on the market so your animals have safe products from nature. One is an electrician for factories to keep the place safe, another is a detailed oriented person and makes sure your cars are spotless, and clean and many want only him to do it because they trust him with their expensive cars. They are all tinkering about something always. As the Bible says, train up you kids as suits them for the Lord made each for a purpose and they will never stray far from it.

I don’t know if someone pointed this out or you saw the video but when you cut the electrical to the machine and the cameras, the red light did blink very quickly. Which tells me that the power was interrupted to the machine and the cameras were cut off for a “the twinkling of an eye”. My Pastor said way back in the 1990’s that it’s so quick that it’s unseen unless the eye is twinkling a lot. I just looked it up. The twinkling of an eye is one eleven thousand’s of a second. Well I hope I remembered it correctly because I didn’t write it down and in my last 60’s I don’t always remember and if I go back to Siri I will have to rewrite this. The point is I’m sure the cameras were probably interrupted but for such a small amount it wasn’t visible to the naked eye. Love your videos plus now having Ryan do the camera work I’m sure this is a stress reliever for you. To Ryan, I hope this all works out for you. I know you have plans for your future. I pray for you and for extended friends and family. Blessings to you all.

I have some questions for next week. I am wondering if the convent is on the city sewer system or if there’s a septic tank? Also, will you have to re plumb the whole place to have water available everywhere? I am also wondering if the electrics are all up and running now or if some of it needs upgraded? Finally, I know you wanted to get the apartments upgraded and rented out and I wonder how that’s going? Have you made headway on this project? Rentals will be so nice for the bottom line. Steady money you can count on. So just wondered if you hit a wall and had to postpone the project? Finally, how did Gwen learn to speak such excellent English? Ok. Thanks so much for sharing this journey. I appreciate all it takes to do this. Ryan is really making it easier. Glad he’s there doing what he does so well. 🎉🎉

Convent thoughts: big rooms and the rooms right above them would be an excellent venue space. Weddings and the like. Small “getting ready” rooms and kitchen/event rooms downstairs. Once the garden is done behind, even better! Use the small rooms with sinks as a hostel. Rent the apartments. The income opportunities could be awesome.

Happy Sunday. I want to share about a place in Michigan called Frankenmouth. It’s the coolest place b/c it is a Christmas all year Town. People love to go there because it just feels so good to go shop for Christmas things and have a family style meal. If the French love NOEL like I know they do with all their Christmas markets, then I think a year round Christmas Convent with all kinds of Christmas shops with every kind of Christmas items will be a big hit. It’s such a novel thing and it’s a fun family trip to go to Christmas town in summer too. It’s a big hit in Michigan and has been for a ton of years. I don’t think there’s another one like it in France. I think it would be a great opportunity to have something unique and special. It would be a tourist destination in France if it’s marketed right. Anyway, I like my idea. Hahaa. It’s ok if you don’t. You can Google Frankenmouth Christmas in Michigan and see what it’s like. And shrink it down to convent size which is still plenty big. It’s a big idea!

I enjoyed this episode. Still, I wish it was a bit longer, but I should just be happy with what you give. Billy had stopped putting up dailies. Sadie wasn't putting up much. Sean didn't have much. Ryan was no where to be seen. Only Mo was online. I was concerned that something tragic had happened and everyone was in mourning. So I was delighted to see Michael in your vlog today. Perhaps Ryan could help Michael get the vlogs on line. He seems to have a knack for it. The convent is huge. So many folks keep suggesting ideas for what you could do with it. I've noticed that many ladies want it to be a wedding venue. That doesn't seem to occur to many men, though. But the town, in the few drone shots I've seen looks small. You've said it's only ten minutes from the chateau. The footage you've presented en route looks to be all agricultural. All told it looks looks there's not a very dense population nearby. Unless the convent is located on or near a highway there may not be enough walk in traffic to support several businesses. Restaurant, offices, studios and the like. It will be interesting to see what you come up with. Good luck with whatever you decide upon. Glad you're back. Keep on keeping on.
