His school will be a Yeshiva school, attended by the same Hasidic community/Satmar sect community, where again Yiddish will be spoken. @@solkolman I think he will enhance any role he chooses to assume. He'd make an excellent Rabbi or teacher of any kind. I think kindness, compassion for all life, insight and wisdom are the way forward for the human race and without it we are doomed. Our greedy warlike tendencies need to be overcome. Before you start smearing other people's spirituality as 'cults' how about removing that splinter from your eye. So that's my hope for the next generation and despite all the derision heaped on millenials today, they are at least trying to better the condition of the planet and its inhabitants. I have one foot out the earthly door but today's young people give me hope, as does that young boy. I wish there were billions more like him.

@@mizzike2555 Projecting much. Actually, modern life has trashed women beyond recognition. All women want these days is to be "treated as men", that's not a wholesome psyche to which one should aspire. Women have been robbed of their innate natural instinct to create and nurture, deeming it unworthy and demeaning.Instead, women are paraded around naked as eye candy, devoid of long-lasting/meaningful relationships. The irony is that women don't even realize how they've been robbed of their wholesome selves to serve the primal needs of men.

The little boy is confident and that is good. Every confident and content kid is usually great. But what about his little sister? Shying away behind the couch? Maybe I would have done the same at her age, however: what about other girls? Where are the women speaking? Up to now there are just again the men talking - like in almost all religions, christians included. But the men are not just talking - they are ruling and have the last word to say. My snappy mind thinks: No wonder they are enjoying themselves! Of course there could be other reasons like women and girls don't like to open up to the male journalist? I am glad and thankful to get some open minded insights to the orthodox Jewish community and I am willing to get others, I truely am. I liked the first episode very much, I could sense the famous Jewish humour in the beginning of ep. 2! However after to episodes I am asking to hear a girl and a woman talking! Other than this I also believe in acceptance and living different ways of life in peace.

Sometimes G-d shows you why it is good (as in you missed a plane and it crashed) but most of the times not. Side note: Please do not use Baruch Goldstein as an example, ever. That is very insulting. Chaim is so wise! I love the way he speaks about experiencing the world. Not many children have that outlook on everything we’ve been gifted by our creator (or whatever you believe in). I understand that he most likely only has this understanding of life because its based on religion, but i believe every child should be taught to be deeply grateful for the sun, the rain, the wind, the mud and soil we use to grow our food that keeps us alive. We wouldn’t exist if we were without the power of nature. @@casperd2100 Well actually that is very unlikely since he is imbued with a philosophical understanding of the Transcendent which is missing in most young people today. That philosophical basis, coupled with his environment, cultural history and religious upbringing have already dispensed with the reasons one may ask at a later stage, since they are answered throughout his life. A crisis of the type you mention is far more likely among other kinds of people, secular and non-religious people, since they have no sustaining philosophy but merely float along with whatever society at large thinks is normal. So, secular people are, whatever is going on at the moment. If it is getting a tattoo then they get a tattoo, if it is an iPhone they get one, if it is going to college they do that, if it is being afraid of a virus, they do that, they do what they are effectively told. The kid in the video is instead imbued with a cultural and religious construct which is many times older than the US. His ways have stood the test of time.

In this video, I journey deeper into the Hasidic Jewish world and thought. What much of the West is sometimes missing the Hasidic Jews have mastered: community, connectivity, and the ability to go deeper into the spiritual world while avoiding many modern distractions. I ask you to go into this video with an open mind. I like many of you have no interest in getting this focused on religion but there are a lot of nuggets of wisdom to pick up from those that do here in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. I absolutely loved this afternoon and I hope you see the love in it too :) The ways that the different cultures interact is something special and what I love so much about NYC. That was fun and enriching. Oh, and Chaim (the young boy) has more wisdom than Gandolf! Episode 2 of a 3-part series. Episode 1: kzbin.info/www/bejne/aoq3nqV5gcqcmsU Episode 3: kzbin.info/www/bejne/rZWllXSHqbGjlc0

@@AA-sj6qn no I don't know this particular person's heart. I'm sorry if it came out that way. I'm just saying it would be easier if the monotheistic religions stop looking at other religions as inferior. I live in a country where the muslim minority are often targeted and I speak out against it. I speak out against Islamophobia. But I wish they could meet us halfway and stop looking at other non book religions as worthy of contempt. If everyone just looked at the spiritual elements in their religions and lived by that we would have a more peaceful world instead of divisiveness. No offence to you, or anyone else.

They might be nice on the outside, but their whole religion is based on superstitious nonsense. They worship a god that does both good and evil, and hope to stay close to this omnipotent needy being who begs to be constantly worshiped and thanked. They might be nice, but it has nothing to do with being a good person, they just live a robotic life where they have no subjective ideas or thoughts
