Opening to Saving Ryans Privates is probably my favourite opening to film ever. It is quite an emotional ending. Elementary is going well then

Hi AJ, coincidentally I rewatched Saving Private Ryan and Forrest Gump recently as well, both timeless classics. I haven’t seen Airforce One in a while though 🤔 I do the same when watching Tv shows, I’m always jumping online to check out an actor or actress to see where I’ve seen them before 🧐 again I’m the same with James Franco (I’ve always found him creepy, even before all the allegations came out) take care mate👍😃👍

jackie brown is a good classic film its his only film that's actually based on a book. always enjoyed congo . godd video
@ajsmovieplace6 күн бұрын
I didn’t realise it was based upon a book. That may explain why it lacks a lot of his usual ‘Character ‘ moments that the other films have and the under developed characters therein

@ajsmovieplace I didn't know till I watched the round table feature on the disc

I enjoy all the newer plant of the ape movies. Never seen the originals and based off your thought I may never
@ajsmovieplace5 күн бұрын
They were decent for their time. But incredibly dated now. The first has a great twist / shock ending that elevates it massively. You probably know the ending I’m guessing

Plant of the apes movies. Is that where they all go ape over bananas?

If I have the right woman in Elementary, I know her from Hooten and the Lady but she seems to have been in lots of other stuff including Guardians of the Galaxy.

That’s the girl ( and the show ) . With Michael Landes ( I think is his name ). The first Jimmy Olsen from Lois and Clark ☝️

I watched a crap film that I switched off 30 mins in which is unusual for me because normally I can't leave a film unfinished even when it's crap
@ajsmovieplace5 күн бұрын
What film was it ? I have no issue switching off a film if I’m not into it. I won’t force it to the end. I see that as a waste of my time and I could be doing something more productive. Even if watching something I enjoy

hi bud did you pick up hawkeye 4k do we need post cards would have loved to see some art on the 4ks instead your thourghts steve
@ajsmovieplace6 күн бұрын
Hi Steve. Hawkeye was / is my favourite of the Disney Marvel shows. So my getting it was without question. But yeah those postcards within are simply pointless. Take a random concept image and put onto a card. I’d have preferred some high gloss character cards. Something bit less ‘Random’ And yep the disc art on those is pretty lacking isn’t it. Are you getting Loki. Mine has been dispatched
@miserableoldgit14115 күн бұрын
not loki my next 4k steelbook will be panic room i dont buy steel books in the norm but some times what can you do if you love the show just seen dirty harry is comeing on steel book 4k keep up the great vids stay well steve

Haven't seen Jackie Brown since the pictures, so I can't remember a thing about it, Air Force One is a great watch, Congo is another I haven't seen since the pictures, can't remember much either 😅 I have watched Kinjite and Death Wish with Bronson, End of Days and some garbage called The red right hand

Pointless. Yep that describes Tarantino films. The meg was a fun movie. Once you have seen lest we forget, all other war movies are insignificant. The same applies to star wars once you have seen Rogue one. Not keen on ape movies. Airforce one was a good movie. Once you turn a certain age, tears flow more freely. Only films i've watched the last week was Murder on the Orient Express with Albert finney. And Ten Little Indians with Ollie Reed and David Attenborough. Enjoyed the video AJ.
