When I hear about the history of the Jewish people I am very saddened by the level of persecution, especially at the hands of Christians ( I am a Christian), but with all that happened in Gaza, I have gone from sympathy to dislike and disgust at the treatment of so many innocent people, especially before what happened last year, and since, with an out of proportion response to atrocities which were of course heinous. The whole country has been devastated and I don’t know how they can come back from this. They are treated like the Jews themselves were treated, they lived in a huge concentration camp under the rule of Israel. I 0:03 believe in healing. I hope the Israeli people can heal and move on from all that’s happened to them, and gradually live happier lives without guilt, for its guilt of treatment that produces anger towards others. I hope the ceasefire holds , that Palestine becomes a state in its own right, and the Israelis are able to live side by side in peace. Let’s end the hate and suffering. Peace and healing is the future.

Pilate ordered Jesus to be scourged, thinking that it would be enough, but the crowd of Jews demanded that he die... Pilate washed his hands as a sign that his death was not his doing but the Jews'. I know reading is hard... but this basic knowledge 😆
