Notice that the shadow version of Argus in his passive is the equipped skin, not the normal Argus. The specialty or uniqueness of Darth Vader was that he was the only skin that changed the passive's shadow Argus into Darth Vader. Now that the shadow Argus changes every skin, that unique feature on Darth Vader is gone.

Oh trust me, it definitely does downplay his uniqueness. Before these animation changes, alot of argus users actually said that Dark draconic/Catastrophe skins were better than darth vader in terms of visual effects. Which made vader not stand out that much. The only unique thing about vader from other skins that's eye catching was his model, passive slash, and his shadow. Now all other argus skins almost imitates vader. From the unique shadow to the sideway passive slash.

Fun Fact: reason why Darth Vader has that special passive animation, is because in Star Wars lore, Darth Vader couldn't raise his arms more higher than his head, because his limb is now are prosthetic and not organic, so he doesn't have stretchy muscles to raise his arms higher more than his head

Argus’ trail got removed, most likely because it was too similar to Tryndamere, a league of legends character. Tryndamere also drags his sword on the ground and also has the same ult as Argus. I’m guessing they’re changing his 1st skill to look the way it does because Tryndamere is also known for spinning around when he dashes.

Because as you saw in the video, I am able to bring back the ground scratching effect, thanks to my old argus backup files, and through this, I can confirm they messed with each argus skin just to remove those effects. Still no idea why tho

I kinda like the new passive slash animation WAY more than the current one, for me, it looks like he's slashing his Meteoric Sword with more power... The shadow does look way off.. But, the 2nd phase of S1's transition kinda sucks, it doesn't transition well.. But for some reason, I like it the animation. Could they possibly be planning to buff Argus next season..? Maybe bring back bleed effect of S2? Or maybe bring back the effect of S3 that gives him a full passive bar when activated?

from the time that moonton revamped him and change his passive unlimited recharge when he is low hp they nerf him so bad that was the reason he was weak until they give him bleed that also help agains lessley and ammon also he was recharge his passive when use ult before and recharge it very fast it was deadly compo to mm and mage with dhs now need crit to work. very trash nerfs f u moonton only old argus players are legends thank you for your argus support finally someone understand❤

I still don't get it why people seems very mad about removal of bleeding effects. In my opinion, it's pretty situational, only effective against "squishy" target (and many exp laners are sustain heroes). I mean, i rather have the pre revamp ult back, where you gain 30 physical attack and instant passive recharge instead of bleeding effects. Why? Because in late game, you can do double passive combo + inspire and kill mm (or mages) before they can even activate won. Oh yeah, i also rather have the pre revmap passive mechanic, where you gain malice energy based on how much damage you deal rather than how many enemy you hits (because with trinity builds you can do great damage, you only need like 3 - 4 ba to trigger his passive). But it is what it is, i guess 😔.

Rate this argus build I cooked up, wind talker, corrosion scythe, magic boots, dominance ice, fleeting time (advance server version), queen wings ( advance server version). This build more on making argus a front line bruiser that can take damage with ease and go back to the battle field with only little time t wait. This build he relays on his passive to deal damage and crit from wind talker so what do you guys think of this build?

You have a good idea there, but with that build, you really aren't doing enough dmg. In your build there needs to be demon hunter sword or sea halberd. If your intention is to deal low dmg to enemies and sustain a little, then that makes you somewhat like fredrin with lower damage. Overall not such a good idea. Because as an exp laner, you need to be able to deal high dmg as well, not just tank dmg. But you can definitely try that build as a roamer tho.

I think argus benefits more from the new 2nd skill effect than the bleed one. He can now do more enhanced basic attacks compared to before which increases his damage output by a lot. Still tho, not having any trails or bleed on 2nd skill just feels weird. Maybe they could atleast add back the blood trail like before? Fits better imo. Better yet, combine all the 2nd skill effects, bleed trail and curse, it would defenetly be way netter. Edit: my dumbahh forgot the bloodtrail still exists

You just contradicted yourself. You dont care about his animation but care about his buffs and nerfs, well for the longest time moonton has only being nerfing argus to the ground, instead of buffing him, they changed his animations. Who asked for it? People complained about him not getting decent buffs, now people complained about his animations, they have the right to do so. Because argus has never gotten an actual buff yet. All they did was revert back some nerfs they did on him before and "called" it a buff.

It was removed a long time ago. I just brought it up because moonton loves to remove small details on argus skin for no apparent reason.

In my opinion yes some of the powerful and our fav effects are gone. But the only thing argus needs here is more hp. You know why? Because every hero can make him waste his ult because he's just soft asf.🙂

Can you make a video about Moskov’s blood epic skin? Its been quite a while and the effects are severely downgraded than the other, the special skin is somehow what better than the epic version. Knowing the way the epic version holds its spear doesn’t seem to fit has well. To be honest. Moonton should repolish and revamp it.

Moontoon out here changing his animations. What they should have done is give him a proper buff and thats it. My buff recommendation is revert his ult changes the plus 10 physical attack per level and gives you a full passive bar once activated.
