I absolutely get what you said about pairing bad memories to a wonderful scent and then that scent is destroyed for you. It happened to me as well. Pairing a perfume I used all the time to my abuser wife beating ex husband. Same thing with a song! Now I listen to the songs and make it a point to sing them out loud so they aren’t tied to bad memories. I also will wear the perfumes and create good memories with that scent. We can re-train our brains and create better memories for ourselves.

I think the EDP was discontinued and the EDT was recently reformulated and it's now supposedly a very different scent. I've never smelled either and I don't even think it's worth it now 😔

@@theprousteffect9717 I have an EDP from 2-3 years ago and a new EDT along with a much older EDT (prior to reformation) and they all smell EXACTLY the same. The only difference I can find is that the EDP seems to last a bit longer.

Happy New Year Charlotte. I had quite the year with fragrances. I think my most comforting go to fragrance was my beloved Mon Guerlain edp and the intense. Olympea was my favourite this summer and this fall it’s been Libre Intense. Amber Oud Rouge, Si Intense, Miss Dior and Kayali deja vu White flower. Hello Charlotte, I think your look in this video is beautiful! I don't think we've seen your hair down in the last few and your make-up is on point. I spent too much time this year using up blind buy mistakes. I just feel bad getting rid of something that cost a lot by not finishing it. I am learning to be more careful in my purchasing by sampling first. 😅I also tend to wear the less costly fragrances more because I tend to feel less guilty about using them all the time. I think the little clips you have been adding for visuals about fragrance notes from your perfumes, add a nice picture for your viewers. Thanks for your video! Thank you Jenn! I desperately needed a haircut/trim 😂 I am so with you on the sampling more and slowing down on blind buying. I did blind buy some on Boxing Day for some future video ideas but in general, I'm hoping to focus more on curating my collection this year and really taking my time with samples before adding full bottles. Also, same as you, I do have a harder time spraying more expensive fragrances I just know I can't run out and buy super casually like some of my cheaper fragrances - so I totally understand that as well. Skylar Salt Air, Guerlain Coconut Fizz, Santal 33 and Orientica Amber Rouge. To bed, however, I wore nothing but cozy vanillas. If you love Kayali musk i think you would absoloutly love clean reserve skin. Its a beautiful fluffy musk with a little bit of a gourmand element. The salted praline note is just scrumptious. Give it a whirl.

I'm one lucky that I don't associate a fragrance with bad times and god knows I had a lot, but I just remember the comfort and joy that the perfume gave me despite what I was going through... I wore a lot chloé nomade line, Givenchy l'interdit edt so much that it became my signature and got crazy with la belle the last few months.... Musk 12 is sooo good. Last year I picked it up because vanilla 28 was out of stock. Its such a great scent for work- i work in health care. Very agreeable-non offensive. I would definitely purchase again. I bought so many last year but musk 12 I used across all seasons. Thank for video as always. Love the imagery!

Happy New Year to you! Love your videos! I have actually been wearing Burberry Woman quite often (received a compliment from a stranger the other day...she said "You smell just beautiful! What is it?". Lol. Also am in love with Ruby Orchid by Viktor&Rolf. I have learned the hard way to not wear my favorite scent to family occasions as I sadly formed a bad scent memory while wearing my beloved Givenchy Hot Couture edt recently. I'm almost able to wear it again now. Lancôme Hypnose, as well as Crystal Noir Edt are my go to's this winter also. Take care. ( your hair looks so good) Best wishes for a great 2023!
