I love that you are so very real about learning to do something new to you and that you show that you can be off a bit with the coloring or cutting or something and reminding that these are handmade and not hallmark. You give me a bit more confidence to try more. This card is so sweet and I love s'mores so much.

That card is soooo CUTE!! ❤️❤️❤️ The stamps are adorable. Great choice for a stamp set. I have a few Prisma colored pencils here myself as my local chapter of Decorative Painters did some Prisma pencil projects. They are great fun. I want the full set of them of coarse! 🤣. Be careful when you sharpen those pencils. They break so easily and then you have to sharpen all over again. Not sure what the trick is to sharpening. Maybe someone will have some suggestions. I’ve only done two projects with my pencils….I have so few colors. Thanks for sharing this Cathy. Now I have reason to purchase the whole set! 🤣. And…..love the idea of using an empty Copic marker for the Gamsol. 😉

I'm going to give it a try an empty Copic with gamsol! I have individual paper stumps for each colour family....one marker would be so much space efficient. Very 'sweet' card.

Wonderful idea putting the Gamsol in the empty Copic! I always use an empty travel watercolor brush, but even the thinnest one of those can be too thick to not mess up the coloring. I also LOVE how excited you are when opening a new product... you sound like me! 😁 "I'm not trying to write a creative check that I can't cash"... That quote is now my official art making mantra!

I like the prismacolor pencils because they are softer and have a good pigment load. I also have a set of Verithin pencils which are not as soft but are the same colors so work well with the Prismacolor Premier. I use the verithin for tiny areas.

Kudos to your patience. I’d rather use water color pencils but maybe not get similar results. Don’t know but this process is way to fussy for me. Just as this will help those who enjoy the process, it’s also helpful to know if it’s not your jam. Helps both sides. TFS 🥰

I hope filling the Copic Marker with gamsol works, I like the efficiency of that. I have talked with the experts at Gamblin regarding their oil paint and the gamsol because I had completely went away from regular oil paints for a long time due to lung cancer. But I have not had issues as I added them back into my painting life although I am more into watercolors anymore.

Smore stamps...yes, please 😍 Cathy you make such beautiful cards just like you... beautiful inside and out... Love your video's and thank you for all the giggles over the year's. *BIG Virtual Hugs & Merry Christmas**. And p.s. I've had my craft heat guns since 1997 (started stamping in '97) and they are still going strong... I'm wondering how long they are gonna last...sure have gotten my money's worth...and OMG 😱 I just realized after I said that... That I've been stamping for 25 year's...and I'm 50... So half of my life.. HALF OF MY LIFE 😱😱😱 wow that just made me feel really old 😭😭😭. It all started with my assistant giving me a beautiful hand made thank you card and she introduced me to D.O.T.S which is the original name of Close to My Heart...then on to Stampin' Up! And then several year's down the road I got into teaching Stamping at a few Michael's in Sacramento, CA area back in the early 2000's and then I moved to Oklahoma and 2004-2010 I continued to teach Stamping at 4 Hobby Lobby's in the Tulsa, Oklahoma area...I sure miss those days I've seen so many stamp companies come and go through the year's.... I'm so glad the Stamping (Card making) Community has gotten so BIG these days and is so popular.... I also miss Stamping/Scrapbooking Convention's :( didn't mean to go down memory lane there. I keep being told I should teach on my KZbin Channel and maybe I will start thinking strongly about it...but for now I just enjoy your channel and all the other usual suspects that bring so much color and joy to our community 🤗🤗🤗🥰🥰🥰
