I don’t sit in hot tubs either. I don’t like pot lucks or community dinners, salad bars, AND I’m weird about sitting on couches other than my own. 😮😊Oh, and I don’t like to handle menus and table condiments. My Aunt was a bacteriologist. :)

Agreed! Although I guess if you’re packing for two different climates, you probably need more clothes “ just in case”. But I try to go as minimal as possible, too.

This was a great and honest video that ppl really need. My travel hack 15 min it works … try to pack your clothes that need to be washed in a bag on the top. As soon as I walk in I take my suitcase in the garage and throw my clothes in the wash . Wipe and spray my suitcase and let it air out. Take the rest of the stuff in a laundry basket into the bedroom upstairs . . Unpack all the toiletries / etc and shower . Warm up food and put away clothes . Eat and throw laundry in the dryer . I have been doing this for years . This way you are mostly unpacked. The next few days I take to refill any toiletries and to put away my suitcase and all bags . You will sleep soo much better and it makes your getting back Into routine easier

I pack a bunch of stuff and wear the same comfortable things all week. I am getting better at trying to do capsules that all pieces work together. Dresses make it one and done pieces. You have some cute ones.

So I actually like the packing cubes not as a space saver, but it makes unpacking on the cruise ship less complicated. I just toss the cubes into the drawer, hang a few things, plus they do reduce wrinkles. This year we are traveling on Norwegian, Oceania, and Celebrity and none have formal nights any longer, but some of the specialty restaurants do have dress codes.

Always enjoy your videos, Marnie. We pack very similarly for cruises. Poo-Pouri is in all our bathrooms here at home and always take on cruises. I've experienced the same on formal nights on cruises -- some aren't formal at all any more. I agree about wearing slippers in the cabin. I can't do bare feet anywhere in hotels or ship cabins. Laughed out loud at "climbing and swinging on trees...". I love Chicos clothes for traveling too. Great selection. Will go click on your links now! Thanks so much!

I love packing/compression cubes - and they work well if you're just taking a carry on bag. Don't really need them if you're taking such big suitcases!

I like the packing cubes for organizing socks/underwear, or if I have multiple stops during a trip so I don't have to unpack a whole suitcase each time we reach a new destination. But I don't think they save much actual space.

Suitcases, toiletries bag, etc. I’m looking for a new set but I could also get two separate pieces. I’ve always used soft sided luggage but I want a hard sided set because I heard they hold WAY more. one of the best things we bought, is a foldable luggage rack for our home so our suitcases are not on the floor when packing and unpacking. Saves the back! :)

Hi! Your unpacking video was fantastic, you need to do more of these! Packing cubes, I never understood how they made packing easier, never helped me. You need to get some travel folding hangers from Amazon, saves space in luggage and comes in cute colors, love mine. I always bring an extension cord on my cruises, plug it in at the table and it reaches to the bathroom, perfect for getting ready. Did you get to see the Broadway show Saturday Night Fever?

Thanks for the info! We are going on the Mariner of the Sea in April out of Cape Canaveral. The ship was refurbed in 2019 so we will see how the outlet situation is now. I am making a list of things to pack already.

It’s so odd that people don’t try to dress up at formal night.
