It only matters if you have PCOS or insulin resistance. Normal people can have some sugar with no problems, as long as it doesn't make you go over your calorie allotment of course.

Anything labeled organic is a scam, used to jack up prices. Organic by definition means carbon based, so humans and gasoline are 100% organic. Peanut butter is also. It good, as peanuts, which are legumes and not nuts, are not as nutritionally dense as real nuts. Research the words on packaging, read the ingredients, and then decide whether or not to buy.

The best care I've ever received has been from naturopaths. Imagine getting 90 minutes with your doctor the first time and being asked questions about your diet, your sleep, your poop, your social life, your spiritual life and then ordering genetic testing for you and ordering the correct full thyroid panel (not just TSH, which shows as normal for 3/5 thyroid disorders).

@@urkittenmee Right but you still need to know how the human body functions. Like this guy isn't even a registered dietician, how is he gonna know what foods to prescribe if someone has a deficiency? Or even identifying whether something a patient tells him "oh I have pain here" is a dietary issue or a genuine health risk? Chronic stomach pain could be chronic allergies. Or ulcers. Or an appendix ready to burst. How's he gonna know? He never went to medical school.

@@urkittenmee I assure you that if you have no chronic health conditions and you fast regularly and do not consume processed foods, that having an apple a day won't be injurious.. however if you suffer from any autoimmune conditions or anything chronic or cancer or have infections like viruses or parasites metals in your system, you don't want to consume fruit

I don't get it, why would you waste your time going to a naturopathic medical school when you could have just gone to a traditional allopathic or osteopathic medical school you could have easily still prescribed holistic medicine from those positions as well.
@urkittenmee5 ай бұрын
Do you understand how much time is wasted learning about medications? Let me answer for you, A LOT. Plus, as a naturopathic doctor, many of their clients and patients are people who are very over the western modality of medicine. it's easier to find people who truly need you as an ND. hope that helps
@andrefalksmen12645 ай бұрын
@urkittenmee Not really, you are going to spend an equal amount of time studying the herbs and roots on which pharmaceuticals are based in a NP program as you would the actual pharmaceutical in an MD program. The main difference being you cannot practice medicine as an NP in 48 out of 50 states.
