I really like this series, it really humanizes you on a platform where a lot of creators have their internet front that they use cause it attracts viewers and gets clicks. I really appreciate this format of you just living your day and showing what meals you cook, keep it up!

@@Vendzor especially with the content he's been putting out lately. He's way too pretentious now.
@Vendzor3 жыл бұрын
@@nitishkulkarni929 Yeah, I don't dig the vibe he puts off. On the other hand, I feel the exact opposite about Ethan's demeanor. He's one of the few KZbinrs who uploads recipes that anyone can make on a busy weeknight. It's a nice change of pace from all the 150-hour cookies and "fast food BUT BETTER" videos. And you're right, the pretentiousness is getting out of hand.

Dangerous words, this “humanization”( which btw, are you a psychopath or something? Do you not see a person and think, “that’s a person with real thoughts and feeling and dreams”?) can lead do para social relationships. How do we know that you and all your sympathizers haven’t already fallen prey to such a fools game?

I find that the pancakes brown more evenly on the second batch because there is a more even layer of butter. Most of the excess from the initial grease gets absorbed by the first batch.
@drummingdrizzle3 жыл бұрын
When I was learning how to cook pancakes, I also made that quick realization that the second/third batch of pancakes brown better than the first!! I only found out why later on while talking to my classmate, wherein she mentioned 'wiping' the griddle with a piece of tissue to get rid of excess butter, thus making the browning of the pancakes even
@benbencom3 жыл бұрын
The pancake browning is just down to the butter. If there's a lot of butter, you get that "cellular" look with fried cell outlines. If there's almost no butter, you get the smooth, even brown. I always butter lightly and then wipe up as much butter as possible before adding the batter.

This looks like the best Christmas ever. My Christmas guests (in-laws) don't contribute anything - and they demand the same things for every holiday (turkey, ham, mashed potatoes, pumpkin pie). I always go the extra mile and make everything from scratch and throw in lots of fun side dishes, expensive charcuterie, and little surprises, but there's no point. They would be just as happy if I handed them a box of Cheez-its to snack on and made TV dinners for the meal.
