Great job Glory 👊🏽💥 Everything you prepared, I would be willing to do now, because 🤢 I don't like eggs with a passion.. I have recently tried a product called Vegan Egg, a plant based liquid that will form into a real egg like consistency while scrambling it.. It's made from mung beans.. So I've been going omlete crazy.. 😵I haven't had an egg in over 30 years 🤢 My dad cracked an egg to cooked for breakfast one morning and there was a bitty 🐣inside 🤮 Sooo.. No one could ever get me to eat another egg for the rest of my life.. I use to like them as you n your family does, and missed eating cheese scramble eggs and omelets.. I refuse to eat potato salad or anything that has chopped eggs.. Thank God for the use of mung beans. 🙏🏼✌🏽💜💯 🎉 HAPPY HOLIDAYS 🙌🏽 👑🕊🌿💫🎄🎁 REMEMBER THE REASON 🎉

I’m a mama of 4 and spaghetti is always a go to in our home! All my kids love it. I also love making a big batch of pancakes and freezing them. Saves time and money. Baked chicken at 350 for two hours followed by a 15 minute broil chicken is a nice way to get that “fried chicken” experience without it being unhealthy. It also makes for delicious fall off the meat bone.

Great job on all the meals! It's nice to see you cook for your family on a regular basis, with fast food being so readily accessible so many ppl just choose not to cook. I also wanted to suggest a few more quick lunch/dinner ideas. Get a big bag or pre-made meatballs and you can make several variations. Meatball subs with hot dog buns. Cook the meatballs in marinara sauce and add cheese to the assembled mini sub, and i usually pair this with a salad. Also, you can cook meatballs in gravy (for convenience, I DO use the gravy packs) and pair with mashed potatoes and veggies of choice. And last but not least, bbq meatballs! Simmer in bbq sauce and I usually with baked beans or Mac and cheese and a veggie! Hope you find my suggestions helpful!

If you guys like Chipotle chicken its a really easy meal i make at home. I also use to work at a Chipotle so its pretty accurate For the marinate you put 1. Chipotle adobo pepper sauce 2. Cumin 3. Black pepper 4.garlic power 5. Half of fresh squeeze lime Then dice what ever amount chiken breast you want. Then for the lime rice you cooke the rice with 2 bay leafs and a little bit of oil like a cap full in the rice cooker. 1. Chope up cilantro i use about half of a bush from Walmart. 2. Squeeze 1 lime and half into a bowl. 3. Add a pinch of salt for a little taste. Let me know if you try it. Its honest so easy take about 35 min to make

I recommend oven fried chicken. I use boneless chicken thighs. Seasoned with season salt, pepper, and paprika. Sometimes I add Parmesan cheese to be extra. Use almond flour to batter it up because it’s healthier and bake it in the oven at 350 for about 45 minutes to an hour. It’s so good!!

I love this!! Please post more of this and maybe have a cook off and have your kids vote who’s is better yours or Matt’s 😂 Also, there are many easy Korean recipes that I’m sure the kids would love such as egg butter rice (the best with soy sauce and sesame oil) and i would introduce your kids to kimchi by washing them or getting white kimchi for starters :) and if they don’t like spinach, i recommend blending them in the pasta sauce with a blender to make it look like pesto :) Another tip i would offer is to make big portions of dishes like curry, spaghetti, (curry spaghetti is also a banger, doesn’t always have to be with rice!!! I love it more with spaghetti actually), jjajangmyun, etc. so you can reheat them and serve accordingly to your kids preferences! Also, i would pre-boil eggs in soy sauce to eat with rice in the fridge whenever you feel tired to cook one day (there’s a dietician on KZbin that has recipes on shorts, highly recommend looking up recipes on KZbin shorts in Korean if you wanna learn authentic Korean cooking! Btw I hope Matt does dishes after you cook😂 So proud of you for it’s not easy to cook for more than just yourself even. Your kids are always going to grow up with this reminder of your beautiful heart of providing for them to the best of your abilities❤

Easy cheesey potato casserole : make 2 boxes of the cheesy scalloped potato from Aldi on the stove top. In a skillet brown 1lb of ground beef or turkey or breakfast sausage (in the chub) with diced onion and grarilc ,salt ,pepper, and some soul seasoning (drain) mix the potatoes and meat. Then add 1 can of corn (drained) or a bag or 2 of steamed bag of broccoli (chopped). Once all combined put in casserole dish top with shredded cheese of choice bake until melty. With the cooler weather I like to make chili every couple of weeks. I make mine in the slower cooker but you can also be made on the stove. It can be eaten alone or over cornbread or rice. I like to top it with avocado or sour cream. Total time in slower cooker 5-6 hours. I usually check it around 3 hours to stir and add additional seasoning if necessary. Ingredients: 1 can diced tomatoes 1 can fire roasted dice tomatoes 1 can of corn (drained) 1 can dark kidney beans(drained) 1 can light kidney beans(drained) 1 can green chilis Minced garlic (no set amount) 1 diced small/medium onion (I use red) 1 diced bell pepper (red) Carrots ( as much as you like) Seasoning:( season to taste) Chili powder Cumin Salt Pepper Paprika Garlic powder Onion powder Oregano

As a person living in the DMV also, I use instacart regularly; if you don’t live in or very close to a major Eastern city it might not make sense, but as a city dweller it’s far cheaper to instacart Aldi and Walmart then to go to a grocery store in my neighborhood. My mother who lives out of my area is shocked by the prices for simple things.

A quick meal I like to make for myself is: cook penne and cube up chicken breast and season. While the chicken and pasta are cooking I cut grape tomatoes in half, sliced cucumber and then cut them in half. Once the chicken and pasta are finished cooking, then in the bowl, add the cucumbers, tomatoes, chicken, and penne. Finally add Black pepper and Italian dressing. Mix it all together, then put in bowl and top it with feta cheese.

That's awesome, I haven't been here in a while can't believe I've been missing your laugh and just watching how you guys love each other. With that said, I am impressed that you make breakfast every morning! I noticed that you guys eat eggs with almost every breakfast my suggestion is to pick one or two day from the week and pre-cook some of the meals you have on your meal plan and store in the the freezer or fridge. Like rice( make fried rice),eggs, meat pancake etc... so, when you go to cook you are mostly warming the food, cause you seem to make sure the left overs don't go to waste so I believe this method is good for you and it will also speed things up. I'm Jamaican so I'm recommending porridge (gosh there's so many kind!) My favorite is cornmeal and Jamaican chicken cock soup for dinner. I hope this helps, Love you guys❤

glory i wish you made korean authentic meals for the kids 😭 as a daughter of mexican immigrants i would love to pass down those dishes my mom makes to my own children one day!! btw we actually make our own mexican version of bulduk chicken. so if you want to try our version: ingredients: 2lbs of chicken cutlets (we're a family of 5 and love having it for leftovers) 1 13oz can of chiptole peppers in adolbo sauce (we use this mexican brand called "la morena" btw) 1/4 cup of honey & soy sauce 3 garlic cloves, chopped 1 inch of thick piece of ginger dry seaweed (optional) steps: first cut the chicken into 1 inch chunks. we usually cook the chicken for 50mins so while it starts cooking, put the measured soy sauce, honey, and chiptole peppers w/ adobo sauce into the blender. once it's done, you can add it to the chicken and stir occasionally until the sauce fully covers the chicken. then add the chopped garlic and ginger to the chicken. you have to stir every 5-10 minutes until ready. we also eat it with white rice and dry seaweed! (sometimes with mozzarella cheese) it's quite simple to make trust me! i also dont like cooking but sometimes you just have to start cooking for yourself and not stick to easy foods to make. we usually end up having leftovers most of the time whenever we make dinner. saves you time and energy!

I'm not sure what the problem would be with a daily dose of rice, it can't be worse than all that bread/bread-adjecent stuff. If you have a pressure cooker/ multi cooker or rice cooker I'd recommend rice with a legume or bean mix, you can make it in the cooker while you do other stuff and it's quite filling and nutritious, you could also cut down on your meat intake that way and safe money because you can fill up on plant-based protein (especially if you soak your beans or lentils overnight as the dry stuff is cheaper than tinned). And to switch it up you can do e.g. quinoa instead of rice some days. My rice cooker even have a steaming function, but you could also heat up frozen veggies in the microwave or air fryer and thus have a very hands off, quick and nutritious meal.

For Maryland, I think you did a great job budgeting! But mama, you need some crockpot meals to save you some time. Crockpot meals are great because the cuts of meat are cheaper and dinner is ready without too much fuss. My husband and I are biracial, where he’s half Filipino and half Caucasian and I’m Filipino mutt. We make Filipino spaghetti sauce in the crockpot with veggies thrown in towards the end. We also live in Texas now so we make texmex stuff in the crockpot too, like Coca Cola carnitas. It’s just pork butt/shoulder, onions, smashed garlic, garlic powder, onion powder, 1-2 bay leaves, Coca Cola, and s&p! You can make tacos, burritos, burrito bowls, enchiladas, quesadillas, and empanadas out of the carnitas meat.

Lots of variety. Good job, Glory! I know it’s convenient, but less processed food is healthier. Making pancake batter is pretty easy and quick. Also, homemade teriyaki sauce is way better than the bottle. Equal amounts of soy sauce and sugar. Add ginger and garlic to taste. I keep ginger in the freezer because I don’t use it often enough. Grates easily when frozen.

Love the meal ideas Gloria! Maybe if you chop the spinach up really fine in a pasta or blend it and put it in the spaghetti sauce they wont realize they are in there. When I was younger my mom bought spinach nuggets I'm not sure if they make them anymore but it's worth a shot. Gotta sneak the veggies in at times 😂

Dang you go girl!! I am not a huge fan of cooking but someone has to do it! I always have some sort of pasta dish (spaghetti, alfredo, pesto) in my weekly rotation along with tacos (or taco salad, quesadilla or sometimes enchilladas). With the weather cooling down I am doing more soups and roasts. My youngest isn't a fan of soup so I make sure we have grilled cheese available if anyone wants that.

I really like this video. I understand when you have a family you must cook even more if you have little ones. Like it or not is a need. So now let Matt to cook next time. I may learn something from him

Absolutely love these kinds of videos. As a stay at home mom I love seeing other moms doing their routines! Thank you for sharing. How long did it take for you to cook on average for each day? That’s the hardest part for me because I don’t like cooking either and with dishes time too it’s so time consuming from other stuff.
