I would definitely wash any bedding and towels before use, I work in a bedding shop and some of the covers the bedding comes in does have a slight odour and feel to them ,,, loving the bed ❤

Love the new bedding, do you use pillow protectors over there? They will help protect your new posh pillows. Also since your wee man sleeps in the bed with you a top flat sheet would help keep things clean. I know a lot of people don't use top sheets nowadays but one of the reasons I sill use them is it means you don't need to wash the quilt cover as often. The bed looks gorgeous.
