Thinking back to the thrash factor...People say V’s sound the biggest sound, your sound is definitely a BIG sound. -Those Mark Morton pups sound crushing...i’m impressed.

I've had one since 2001. Unfortunately, the fretboard warped... I would like to rebuild it as a backup... however, I bought a 2015 KVX in snow-white, and though they both cost the same amount (adjusted for inflation), the newer Indonesian one is like 5 times the guitar for the money. Hell, it's even neck-thru constructed. What neck would you recommend as a replacement for my KVX10T?

Every time I hear those pickups I am blown away. To my ears they sound better than any active pickup I've heard. I've debated throwing them into my Schecter LP (currently has Duncan Designed JB/59, which also sound really good actually) and also looking at his signature Jackson which comes stock with those pickups. Someone said they don't get pinch harmonics as easily as active pups. Thoughts? That V sounds crushing. Cheers!

Sounds like a beast coming out of a cave ready to slay dragons on a misty morning. That high praise. Black and gold is a good combo. Does it have a mahogany body?
