I have to say, some people are upset you sliced and diced the panel up…but in my opinion, it has been such a joy and lesson learned just how many ways you can use a panel! 4 different quilters and 4 amazing ways to use it…that’s a win win for ALL of us. I love this panel. It's beautiful. That could be made into pot holders, and many other items for a kitchen. However it is also beautiful after being cut up and sewed into Nine Patch blocks. No, I can't see the panel anymore. Yes, it is a beautiful yellow quilt. Congratulations.. You just proved that you can cut up fabric so small that no one will recognize it in a quilt. Thank you.

I really enjoyed watching this video. This was a long time ago for me. I kept gravitating towards these panels, but not really a panel person. But I really did love the colors that were in the panels. Then one day I just took a leap. I purchased several panels and a local quilt store and they were in the dollar bin. And I had been thinking about it for some months, I know exactly what you did, cut them in 2 1/2 inch strips, gray for background and made an easy Irish chain quilt. I had enough fabric that I made two. One to keep want to give away.

I believe I gasped when you put your ruler and rotary cutter on the panel and sliced it up! HOWEVER, the end product was prettier than the beginning panel. I was also trying to channel you to use a blue, brown or even red inner border.😅 What a great idea, thanks.❤️

I just want to thank you for ( butchering), haha that panal. Not because i did not like it, cause i really did like it. But it made me realize that a couple panals i have, that have really nice colors, but i dont like them could be used in this totally unique way!!!!!! Thanks for thinking outside the panal!

THANK YOU!! I "inherited " about 20 quilt panels from my mom. She found them at a yard sale $5 for the whole bunch. I don't like working with panels because it's hard to find colors to match or its printed all kittywhompus. This is the perfect solution that I'd never thought of. And I didn't want the Quilt Police showing up at my door 😂😂
