I really enjoy the home-y vlogs! As a person with quadriplegic CP, I love seeing how Cole is able to participate around the house. Gives me hope I'll be able to do the same when I move out on my own someday. It's funny to me that Cole called out that people would ask him why he'd bother doing something Charisma could do faster; I feel like those people would be the first to accuse Cole of not doing enough without knowing anything about his life. Truly can't please that crowd.

From what I understand when homaking dog food, you need a vet approved vitamin or nutritional packet to add as there are some essentials that can't easily be obtained just to be safe.

Great job making food Carisma. Healthiest thing for dogs! I second what you recommended loveleyeyes1654 .... Definitely look it to a vitamin additive or at least something for calcium (like crushed eggshells or bone meal). I used rawfedandnerdy to formulate a vet approved COOKED dog food. 🐕 🎉

The doctor suddenly burst through the door and asked if any of us knew grandma 's blood type! We all.looked at each other and shook our heads no! Cole, you really inspire me even more! I have been disabled for the past 19 years. At first, I didn't understand why it happened to me, but as the years passed, and when I was ready to accept it, God helped me to understand why. There are many things I am not able to do, but guess what?; I don't worry about it. I just do what I can. As it turns out, so many people have come to me and told me that I have been an encouragement to them, that I helped them to realize that just being able to move at all, is a blessing within itself. I love this! We have smart lightbulbs too. Its so nice with kids also, I can turn their room lights on and off and down without disturbing them while they sleep. Never thought how nice this would be for a disabled person. Very nice.

Love to you both from RVA. 1 comment, 1 question - As a breeder, I also make my own dog food, remember, you need to add vitamins, prebiotics & probiotics to Sophie's food. 2nd, I am also a fan of detergent sheets, but I put my sheets right into the washer, is there a plus to putting the sheet into the dispenser? Favorite pizza - why of course, Bottoms Up - CRAB PIZZA, hands down, best pizza in the world, even though I can't eat it anymore.

Cole, you have come a very long way of doing things yourself. I would love to have more help with the household chores. We both do what we can but sometimes it's overwhelming so it's a good idea to keep up on things. I do make ALL of my dog's food too. It is ground turkey, mixed frozen veggies ground tiny in the food processor, & some rice. She loves it! I measure it out in snack bags & pop them in the freezer so she has fresh daily. We have very few allergy issues now. I would not feed her what I wouldn't eat myself. I enjoy our time together so it doesn't matter if you are out & about or at home. When you do have Fosters, we will see you when we see you!

That's quite the savings! Finally, your home is airy, open, and welcoming. I know your foster girls (whenever they arrive) will enjoy their new home, their bedrooms, and the lovely backyard. If either of you knows how to play chess, teach them; once learned you never forget. I use the laundry sheets too and actually just throw them in with the laundry vs putting the sheet in the drawer and we’ve been using dryer balls for years. They are the best and no chemicals.

We live in the country and when new neighbors moved in behind us they asked me what they could do with their oranges. I told them to juice them and put the juice in the freezer. They have never done that in the last 5 years they have lived there. There are 8 people in their family and it baffles me that they basically throw all their oranges away every year! They just drop on the ground! I don't understand why they don't at least give them away. Can you imagine throwing all that away? Very sad! I admire you guys so much. My husband lost his leg 23 years ago and I am disabled. He operated cranes until he retired 6 years ago. We do it all. It just takes abit longer and live on 5 acres and raise cows too 18:30 . It's hard but so worth it. Good Luck with your Fosters. Such a rewarding feeling to help innocent kids that just need love and a warm and happy home.

Laundry detergent sheets are meant to be put in the machine with the clothes, they dissolve better that way and get mixed in better with the clothes. It would also be easier for Cole to drop the sheet in unfolded in with the clothes (so ultimately a win-win)

For this specific brand, the directions told us to put them in the dispenser. Not sure why but we just followed the directions

Yeah, I thought use of washing machine sheets is specific to the brand of washer you have. What works for other appliance brands may not work for Cole, or Charisma.

Cole, I love that you do what you can to help with the chores. We have a friend that was shot and paralyzed when he was young. He worked for the Sheriffs Dept and was shot on duty. He never let it slow him down and continued to work and although he could no longer work as a deputy, he retired from the sheriffs dept, central office after 30 years.

You should look at timed blue tooth blinds motors. You can operate the blinds with a puck / remote or have them open close on a daylight timer. I have them in our house they are very handy!

I was just thinking that if you did want Cole to be able to take the sheets off the bed, I would try sewing a reinforced loop of fabric on each corner. I also wonder if they sell that grabber with a rubber coating. It would be more gentle and less slippery. Great video❤
