This is amazing for real the most authentic thing on YT. It does inspire. Love this attitude, with all those extreme diets these days this kind of attitude is needed

At 6:58 I saw you say "いただきます" and it warmed my heart. I know everyone in Japan says this before starting to eat, so it's normal for you; but I live in America where you never hear anyone saying this. I love Japanese culture, so it makes me so happy every time someone says "いただきます" and "ごちそうさまでした" in a video. ☺️💓

I enjoyed this video very much. We incorporated some of the tips you've shared in our dinner last. Rice with plenty of colourful veggies with seafood or beef protein for those who wanted it. Thank you. I agree with you on not counting calories. Just life's abundance with joy and moderation. 😋

Thabk you for the vegetarian hiyashi jiru. The ones that usually have mackrel in it and I don't like that. For dashi stock I also sometimes use shiro dashi since the granulates sometimes have trouble disolving. My husband makes this I think with chicken stock since he doesn't like the dashi taste. and he sprinkle shichimi togarashi over everything. The cucumber will be great in a bento as well. I'm thinking up bento ideas now since it's only a week summer vacation left here, so I'm getting back in school mom mode hahaha. I saw on instagram you are on a trip. Have a great time!! hope the typhone wasn't too bad and you did't have to wait too long at the airport. Musubi kiln has such lovely products. love the summer vases they have now as well!

Miso/Dashi soup with rice combination is a very practical combination. I like the curry-tofu mix on the rice in "reverse" too. Though I might be tempted to use egg instead of tofu as I am not fond of tofu but like egg. Would that work? I would like to make your cucumber pickle. That is a very good meal prep idea and condiment addition to meals. Thank you for another very useful range of recipes! Wonderful.
@MiwasJapaneseCooking2 жыл бұрын
egg! It should work!! Maybe you can try a firm scrambled egg first then add at the very end to combine with other ingredients^^ thank you for your kind words as always!!
