Hi Miwa! Excellent summer food ideas and thanks for taking us along with you and your family. I used to teach in Japan and I miss Japanese flavors. I have a toddler now, do you ever do videos on what you fed your children when they were young? They eat so healthy now! Thanks for your care and attention in your videos and recipes! 💖🇯🇵✨😊

Thank you for hot weather recipes! It’s been 35 c here as well, tho we say 95f! Ha. I enjoyed seeing your boys tackle that HUGE shave ice dessert!! Also seeing them jump on the stairs reminded me of my boys(now grown married men) when young. They were always doing that and later skateboarding & making mommy nervous. 😁❤️

I heard it has been super hot there for a while now, especially with your high humidity! The temp here has been as hot off and on for the past couple of months, but we don't have humidity quite as high as you do (though it can get very very humid). Thank you and your team member for that salad recipe, and also thank you for the reminder to make ramen eggs! The eggs are in the pot. 😊🍜

I have been really getting into cold noodle dishes like naengmyun and cold soba recently, so I love this and would love to see more in the future! Also I recently went overseas and was able to get my hands on a bottle of yuzu juice that I'm so excited to incorporate into my meals. I'll definitely give that last dressing a try!

We love ramen eggs. I have collected many different marinates so I can swithc teh flavour up. My husband likes the gochujian based and shoyu based and Saya only the shoyu and perhaps salt based ones. I almost like any flavour depending on what I eat with it. I think perhaps the dressing you made makes great salad marinated eggs. I do miss summers in Tokyo, even the heat. Here temperatures creep up to around 30 sometimes and then drop back to 19 or 20 degrees C. Not really fun that way. on the other hand we don't have in general airco in the houses so just a fan to try keep things cool. I wanted to eat somen on tanabata last Thursday but it was cold and rainy so no cold noodle weather. Summer vacation has begun for us now so next 6 weeks Saya is free from school (and no homeworks since summer falls between school years here). Hopefully a little bit good warm weather to come. The cafe looks fun!! I think I foudn it on google maps. Kinozen if I read the name right? I just love these traditional tea and sweets restaurants.
