Would love for you to get a little chatty about hunger and fullness cues, especially your experience with them. I struggle with recognizing them and imagine others do too. So happy to see you back. Love the chats and little Romi!

@@lindaohairwe9846 😳 any idea how to deal with that? It sure feels intense. Like I’ll stand in the kitchen not wanting to leave and also not wanting to eat like I’m in a trance cause in feel like it’s not something I can control
@lindaohairwe9846 Жыл бұрын
@@ELLIESHAY aw I feel for you! I had the same thing and it was terrible. I ate so much but I could always eat more and never felt satisfied and realized I was not letting myself have some of the things I really wanted. At first it’s hard because you feel like if you have those things like Oreos for example, you don’t trust yourself because you’re afraid you’ll eat the whole bag. You have to let yourself have things you crave and maybe buy smaller quantities at first while you begin to give yourself that trust, overtime your mind will know that you are allowing yourself these things and will be at ease and you’ll feel satisfied after a meal without having eaten the whole bag. I hope that helps explain it a bit, not sure if you felt similar things but that was my own experience

@@ELLIESHAY I have exactly the same issue Shelly. I feel unable to stop even though I know I'm full, it's very disheartening. I'm trying to be a bit more compassionate towards myself. ❤️

I’m visiting my parents on Guam and haven’t been on island since 2006. I, too, am not getting in as much veggies as usual and it’s been definitely more starch focused here. But definitely enjoying spending time with family and childhood friends and indulging in loads of sweet sticky rice and coconut based sweet treats!

Going in for hip replacement on the 30th and trying to have foods for hubby to help heat up. Anxious to "get my life back" and get active again!

I bought a microwave steamer a few years ago; and I do my Brussels sprouts and cabbage together in it and they come out PERFECT!! It’s the pampered chef black with white/translucent cover LOVE LOVE LOVE IT! Not sure if you’re into stuff like that, but it’s great if you don’t want to dirty another pan or wait for it. I eat right out of it as well lol it’s great!

Hiya Ami, I bought a MÜLSI VEGAN MILKER for making my OATMILK as I just got fed up paying so much for my OATLY ORGANIC PLANT MILK, and carrying it home.. I've always stayed away from OATLY BARISTA because of the added oil. I'm PLANT EXCLUSIVE SOFAS FREE (I follow Chef AJ). The Vegan Milker has a special patented feature that "emulsifies" the oats-water" excellent results, using just organic Oats and water, nothing else. It can be used to make Soya milk/Almond milk etc. even coffee. Highly recommended and not going to change from my lovely Oat milk (plant milk) 🙂 Lots of video's KZbin showing people using the Vegan Milker.

Hi! Love to see you back here. I always looking forward to your videos. But I also think its good for you to take som time off social media, and just focus on your family. Romi is SO cute! To see her breast-feed is just adorable. I miss those times, but that's life. Anyway, your grocery hauls are so good. I don't know why its so much fun to see what other people buy. Maybe its because I love food. And I agree with the other comments here, it would be fun to see how it goes for James. Take care! Love this comunity💗

OHHHH AMI! Welcome back - we have missed you! This is soooo timely! YES, my husband is finally....almost...on board and while I'm happy with veggies and starchy veggies I'm struggling with trying to "fill" him as he is coming from the SAD diet. Breakfast is easy, he can have oatmeal or cereal, but lunch -- well, his go to are sandwiches with deli meat so I need to change that. And dinners need to be filling but I think might be easier than lunch for me to figure out! I would love a corn chowder recipe -- all the ones I find have coconut milk in them!! Soooo happy you are back! I'm so thankful for you!!!!! And hello to the little ones - so sweet!!!

👏👏👏I’m so proud of you Ami for breastfeeding your baby; the healthiest food for Romi. More power to you! When I was nursing by babies, I didn’t pretty much care who saw me either. It’s all instinctual, so natural. I firmly believe children everywhere would be healthier if more mothers (those who are able) would elect to breastfeed.
