hey miss hitomi🫶 i know this can be a sort of an invasive question, but i was just curious about (estimated) how much groceries cost for your lifestyle and how often you shop for food and if there are specific markets etc. I was hoping to make a sort of dream board but with lifestyle details like budgets for food and whatnot! i see it as super important especially because it’s the energy we give our bodies and i’m high key such a foodie these days :)) that’s all! love you! and thanks for your time, much love and respect 💋

Hi Hitomi! I’ve been following your sharings online for years now & I am incredibly grateful for your vulnerability & intelligence served up for us to sit with in our lives. I am sorry you have experienced such hardship with your health this year & I am happy to hear that you are finally feeling GOOD again in your body. I know it can be icky to receive advise around health from a stranger online who does not know your history fully & I still felt it could be really great to share this information with you & or anyone reading. I wanted to share that iron absorption & absorption of many of our most important nutrients including magnesium & protein etc. is greatly reduced on a plant based diet IF you are not actualizing the alchemy required to receive the best from these plants. IE. Soaking seeds, nuts & legumes! This is the biggest most beneficial change I’ve experienced with regards to nutrient absorption on a plant based diet. You could even take it a step further and sprout these babies to receive even MORE nutrients. Did you know lentils protein content increase with sprouting!? Or knowing the chemistry between many of our nutrients, relying on eachother to be able to work with our bodies. For example; Vitamin C is the only nutrient shown to help absorption of nonheme iron besides animal tissue! Iron and vitamin C have a mutually beneficial relationship when it comes to absorption, they need eachother. Lastly I’d like to share if you have not heard of or utilized the Moringa tree, though I feel you definitely may have due to traveling, this tree is a SUPERFOOD, called the never die even, the benefits are so numerous & mind blowing it really is to much to type out. Definitely google her! I wish you the best Hitomi🤍

HITOMI. I love your videos - I love how unproduced they are, e.g. the ending of the video just cut off and then it was over, other episodes where you speak into your phone as the mic - I love this quality about your channel. It's not overly curated or 'perfect'. I feel like I am aware of how much of life you're living outside of your videos, that the videos are just a small part of what's going on for you. Thanks for creating this space :DDDD

I had pretty crazy bloating as well but I simply started reducing the volume of my meals, which helped so much. I don’t suffer from inflammation anymore in general, and even my face is so much smaller. I didn’t even realize how puffy my face was until I tried eating smaller meals. Same amount of calories, just a lot more concentrated into small amounts of more caloric foods.
